yea,me and jen were both below what we expected- we were comparing excuses my sti with 3" full decat,green panel filter,ngk pfr7b,zero sports air inlet thing and Andy F remap on 99 ron made 320 against Ali's standard ish sti?? making 325 do remember a thread from a while back on snet about newage sti not producing accurate figures on rrs though,sure mike wood got involved

yea, great day out even though i didnt make the figures i was expecting ten out of ten to Al for keeping calm and also for 273 bhp from a home mapped car,respect is due!! jens dedication was truly remarkable and watching her dissapear down the road afterwards it looked more than 280 some cracking cars there and nice to put some faces to names

could try gtr bodyworkz as recomended to me by awd,just one guy graeme who has his own scoob,he did the girlfriends integra with similar damage and did a cracking job.

whoops! missed a letter,that should have been sti!!! wouldnt touch a focus! ive an 05 sti which i got as its a better starting point if you want to mod- witness the trials of welsho as redgards to uprating a wrx but as i said the jdm impreza spec c is where my moneyd go- or a type 25 !!!

the evos a much harder edged machine but any ive been in havent felt that much quicker than my scoobs unless theyre up over the 360 mark and the reason ive never had one is they just feel too competent - id either end up with no licence or a big off to use it on the road. but if your going for track fun its definitely the way. just a thought but you havent considered an st instead? much more bike like than a wrx and with all the bits ready for more power gearbox brakes etc,2005 spec cs going for 12-15k just now....

hope theyre replacing all 4 for you Al! i got all 4 of mine done 6 months ago with a bit of a struggle,but think they may be going again,hohum. but 4000 miles is shocking especially as 1000 of them were running in -bad luck or youve been rallying om the side nice choice with the ti phoon,sounds great and like the ti finish to the tail

hi there fine example of the best post classic impreza! tho i may be biased! compomotives would look great and consider bronze,its actually much darker than youd think,closer to anthracite than gold- have a look for my threads with pics of my new rays in bronze,just love them! howd you find the ride/handling with the teins? that may be my next stop once the credit card recovers from the last beating lol! saw your teg for sale when i was looking for one for my gf,nice car too,got to say i prefer the steering and handling(dry) of the teg but it came with teins-but deffo doesnt do the flames/bangs/pops of the scoob! o and try ht autos on ebay for a splitter,make them an offer of 100 plus postage and should go through ok,also as its pu plastic it flexes a lot more than the other ones-as my bin can testify!

update for you all,inverness is no longer the most northernly v power station- much to my delight the filling station just beside the house in beauly has just become a shell complete with v power!! ok its not much further north,10-15 miles, but its bigger and a hell of a lot easier to get to,certainly for me!! but other than that its octane booster or jerry cans im afraid- unless your incredibly light of foot theres no way your getting to john o groats and back on one tank-id be lucky to get there!

i got my sparkplugs from a place in edinburgh that was listed on scoobynets scoobyshop at half price heatwrap was from scoobyparts.com gaugeplace on ebay for gauges headers would have been either andy f or flat4online but having talked about it with andy decided that i wouldnt see much difference at this stage,wait until i go for stage2 bigger turbo injectors etc.

nice spec of car youve got there mate! whereabouts in central are you? i could be wrong but i think youd only really need to go to an induction kit if you were uprating the turbo and injectors- i had this discussion with Andy F just before i had mine mapped and stuck with the panel filter for just now with similar mods to you, but i did add the zero sports ss pipe from the airbox as it looks pretty and im sure it does help the air flow more smoothly but i doubt it increase power or torque.

looks shiny! other than that seems to make the standard dump valve whoosh more audibly,prob no performance gain but its nice to see when you open the bonnet

got mine on friday!! got them stuck under a book as the postie left them folded halfway through the letterbox and i wasnt home til late now just need to decide where to put them,option a b c or d!
