It looks quite tidy, but he's concerned (And rightly so) that there is no Ident Plate for which No of p1 it is. Just wary that it could be a Type R, tarted up to look like a P1. I've told him to post on P1OC, which I think he has done, but i said i'd ask for him on here as well. The service book is full of Brian Downie stamps, so could well be an Aberdeen/shire car. Al

Is the general concensus that It wise to avoid these guys? My car is due its 2nd (20k) Service pretty soon, and really want a main dealer stamp in the book.

As an aside, I'd love to meet the Sun photographer who climbed up and over Beinn An Lochain from rest and be thankful to get pics of us in the crash site with a massive tele-lens. I hope his fee was worth all the effort!
