Innovit Tarmacs in 17" by any chance? I have the same I find them ok to keep clean...suppose it depends on your brake setup and how dusty the pads are!

I need discs and pads and wondered if you can get Ferrodos for the WRX? I had them in the FTO after many years of Red Stuff/Pagid/Green Stuff and they were a different class. I used 3G disks which are Brembo casts iirc. What do people recommend for a daily driver that are a bit uprated from standard? Prob just get Hypertech to do it all in one go as I know I'll end up with the same problems as Stephen did lol - I get easily defeated too!

Most companies can sell the domain and do the hosting but you can do the 2 steps individually too with different companies. I use FastHosts and for most businesses needs they do fine. If it's just a personal or small website then you can just buy the domain name and then use the free webspace you get from your ISP to host your website - you can just set up a re-direct to your own URL (such as your virgin/BT webspace). I do all that stuff freelance too tho - I do all the setting up of domain and hosting and sorting email accounts etc free and just charge a flat fee for the website.

How can you seriously call that a top 50 car? I looks like the bodykit is polystyrene - so many hard edges and no flow to the kit....flared arches I like but they just look like boxes painted in glitter and glued to the body....the wheels look stupid set away back like that....seriously - why spend what MUST have been a lot of money to do THAT to a 406 (I think!)?

Anyone got a few litres I could buy? My car has no oil on the dipstick (!) and I went to Whitburn to see Extreme but they were closed. Just wondered if anyone has some that they could spare (why does it have an oil warning light if it does not come on when you are that low)? I want to take my son to F&M tomorrow but not risking the engine! I had this before where it had nothing on the dipstick but it only took about a litre to get it up to max. EDIT: Just spoke to Hypertech and they said I could put in a good quality fully synthetic just now untill I get the oil service... I was asking if my oil was low would my after market pressure gauge show lower pressure? It sits about 80-100.

I had mind done by RM Coatings in Livingston - they did them same day! I dropped the car off and they phoned me back at 4pm and said I could pick it up. They do stuff for the Porsche Owners club and places like that and they were properly sand blasted, stripped and recoated. I had them on the FTO for another yr and a half b4 I sold it and they were still perfect. I think it was £140 but £20 of that was to remove the wheels off the car too - if you just take the alloys it will be cheaper. That price was about 1-2 yrs ago tho

A guy on the FTO forum got his done by some Polish guys at a big Metro Centre down south - after he got home he fount they had scratched the car and used some touch up paint to hide it! (black car)

I was just gonna say that I am surprised their adverts are not pulled when they do things like that but the manufacturers prob like the publicity anyway even if it's not true!

That car was on the front cover of Auto Express and is indeed a Vauxhall - the scary thing is you can chop an existing car from another manufacturer and it doesn't look much different from another one....cars just look so generic these days! Auto Express are always doing photochops to make their front covers more interesting

I was thinking that too - most people run away when a car is on fire in case it explodes....maybe that's just in the movies

I get emails from them with the cheapest local SUL prices - I noticed the 2 Shell's near me were different prices but also just found out the same guy owns them both but one is in a prime location so it has a higher price!

Glad you are ok m8, just shows you how easy it can happen and you just can't account for diesel/greasy roads etc. Nice to see your sense of humour re: the service lol Should someone not highlight the airbags not going off on Scoobys - one thread on this forum alone and we have 3 people who say they never went off! Especially sparky's crash! My airbag light is on just now but it sometimes isn't and it'sa bit worrying reading about them in situations like these! Hope you are back in a Scooby soon tho m8.
