my 2yr old loves them but the tyres can come off - luckily he doesn't put them in his mouth - he's quite sensible lol I did notice that they go REALLY fast when you pull them back and let go - I wonder if Ferarri wanted that as they are officially licensed by them lol

Is the lever at the driver's seat loose now or does it still have tension? If it still has some tension it may just be stretched - you can then unclip the cable from the lever and see if you can then pull the cable manually - if that works then it's stretched and needs replaced - unless there is a way to cut the end off and refit the wee ball? If you do need to fit a new one (I did my bonnet cable this way) you can just attach the new one to the old one then pull it through as you pull the old one out - a cool trick my neighbour showed me

Just went thru to Skidz today with the kids in tow and got the wheels fitted - I think it really needs the STI8 spoiler on now to make the look work for me Gonna visit a few places on Sat for quotes on getting it fitted. Felt pretty good on roundabouts and cornering on the way home tho - noticed a difference immediately...less harsh ride too but I was taking it easy as my toddlers are more important to me than finding out how quick I can get round corners Got back about 6.30 and had to make kiddies dinner then put them to bed so no chance to do pics yet...anyway - you know what Gus's looked like

Anyone hazard a guess as to what he would charge to stick on an STI8 spoiler (already painted as it came of an STI in same blue as mine) - I just want it to be done right and sealed well so no water ingress...gonna go and see a few places for quotes on Saturday tho

Thanks for the heads up. I am in a cul-de-sac and also park the wifes car behind mine - I've read of them getting the car up the road a bit before stripping out the tracker etc but mine is an oval shaped street so they couldn't really push it anywhere....also I set off my alarm by mistake today as I had popped the bonnet to check oil etc but had locked the car - so when I went back to open the popped bonnet the alarm went off...feck me I'll no miss that even in one of my deep sleeps!! lol Black labs aren't very scary tho - I've had a few in my time lol

Finally ordered my Tarmac's - going for 17"s just now tho - should have them on the car tues/weds Once I get the STI spoiler on I'll be done! Anyone fancy doing the spoiler for me for some beer tokens or cash? It's just come off an STI so needs bolted on but needs 2 new holes in the bootlid which I am not keen to do lol And I'd like it bonded on too to stop water ingress into the boot of course...

I am out and about today too mainly West Lothian but also Fife a wee bit...will keep an eye out...sadly it's probably already going in a container or lock-up somewhere - not much chance they'd be driving it as it's so distinctive. Really sorry to hear about this m8

I did read thru some previous posts but as usual they were inconclusive and I am not sure if you can mix coolant types so I was wondering what stuff is likely to be in an 03 WRX - and where I can get some today . I just checked the reservoir at the front of the engine bay and it looks low to me...I think I can see a line on it that says FULL and it is well below that - should it be right up to the full mark? Is this one the main reservoir or the overflow? TIA!

as far as new cars 1st year tax - dealers will just offer it free when they sell the cars....and what's 750 to someone buying a Cayenne or new Evo X etc? I have cut back on a few things so I can own my Scooby...we are all to used to our creature comforts and find it hard to give things up...I'm just as bad - when I go to get a new TV I want an HD, 40" Widescreen when really I could save a few hundred quid and get one just a bit smaller and put the money towards my new tax rate lol I'm not agreeing with the hikes particularly, just more that people, rightly, want all the nice things (and you can't deny our society is driven by the desire for material things) and the latest gadgets and go massively into debt to pay for it all. I'm not green either so I'm not jumping on that bandwagon (don't think I have had a car whose cat stayed on very long!). All these woman who go to the feckin salon all day and get their fake tan and spent fortunes of their husband's money on make-up whilst driving a Touareg or SLK can afford that but they still moan. I'm sure if they really thought about it they could find a way to save £450 for their road tax.

3 of my favourite cars and they all look awful...what is it with these fronts? And I love a car in white, in saying that, this pic doesn't do them justice and it's not that well lit/shot either....nice idea tho.

Aye my hero since I was 16 - met him 5 times now and seen him in his various incarnations of his band as well as with Dave Lee Roth and Whitesnake heh - That Nancy Wilson could sing I was a huge Heart fan...power ballads at their very best And Whitesnake in the bluesy days were no bad too I am a rocker (altho was well into AOR back in the 80s/90s!)

Looks good and altho I didn't like the "claw marks" on the other pics it looks quite good on yours but I reckon a good artist could make them look more like they were scratching a hole in your car and have a black inner with some shadows round the edge. Overall it looks pretty cool. I like the front but you'd need to make sure you get the yellow right...you've done this before tho so you know what you are doing
