  1. don't think it was you neil lol
  2. I am starting to think doing WIY on Subaru forums is a bit of a lost cause with their being so many about!! lol I think I'll wait for the next meet and try to put cars to faces and then I'll know who to flash!
  3. Lady driving what looked like a modified WRX - not standard exhaust and it had black mudflaps with WRX in white on them - had a larger than standard rear spoiler too. I was behind it till she went straight on to Bathgate and I turned off for Livingston. Anyone on here - or someone's wife got the car?
  4. Try AutoImage up at Fountainbridge m8 - you will see their windows full of alloys just before you get to Kwik Fit (coming from Lothian Road way) Give Margaret a call for a quote.
  5. I should have copyrighted it - I started it on the FTOOC a few years back
  6. If you are printing bigger than A3 you would get away with 150dpi as from a short distance it would look fine. You can also upsize in photoshop - do it in steps tho - increase it by a little a few times rather than jumping straight up to the larger size. You can use google advanced image search to find big pics too. And unless they specify copyright info stuff on Flickr is not copyrighted (read the small print on their site - a lot of people miss that!) In saying all that - I'm sure it's fine to use any pic you find on the web for personal use without too much issue
  7. WTTC
  8. Aye - true Chewin the Fat style "You've taken that too far" (Bish & Bosh!)
  9. ROFL - aren't in-jokes great
  10. Turbo R1 vid http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=S-ppGiwc0wQ&NR=1 Feck me!
  11. I was just getting the kids out of my car and heard the Scoob coming, I looked round a gave a quick wave which was returned. Any of the regulars here? Very nice car...I like the bulkier look of the STI....I can see some styling mods coming on
  12. that view makes it look even faster than when you see it on TV! Amazing and scarily well controlled...
  13. Ah I work there too - I'm in Freskyn Place Gimme a wave next time you see me
  14. Sorry - meant to say WR Blue btw - you seen the yellow classic which is just at the entrance to East Mains Ind. Estate? Opposite Mark Wallace? Wondered if that's a SIDC regular.
  15. Had a plate which read GALL and had a quite raspy zorst Is it a member on here? I was behind you in the newage WRX just near MacArthur Glen
  16. was that pic taken up Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh?
  17. hmm....wonder if Port Seton has something to do with it....if we work together maybe we could solve this mystery....mine's been there too I only use V-Power but I believe it was mapped to use that - was gonna try Tesco99 as I have heard reports of it being a bit better
  18. As you may know I bought Irish Al's WRX and have discovered a problem - it pops and bangs when I change down a gear. The problem is I keep trying to get the wife's Scenic to do the same, but no matter how hard I kick it's a*** it won't make any noises. Have I got scoobyitis?
  19. Royal Blue NSX - now there's a car you don't expect to see every day! Looked like a late model too Reg 78S Pics on my phone - will copy them off later!
  20. looks nice there tho...I love to combine going for a nice drive and then getting somewhere to spend some time taking pics, whether it be the car or scenery :frosty: I love this time of year, I traditionally go for a drive in between xmas and new year but today the wife wanted to go to Ikea so we did that but only if we took my car Went round the back roads to get a bit more of a feel for the car (only had it 3 weeks) and really appreciate the acceleration for overtaking on A-Roads like the A71 etc....my FTO was no slouch but the low down torque was half that of my WRX Great fun altho the kids were in the car so was taking it fairly easy. Looking forward to the first meet of any of the car clubs I am a member of - type R scotland, FTOOC or here....also hinting at a KH novice day for my birthday in January so I can get the WRX on track....
  21. Hi m8, I'm also in Livingston Nice car you have coming My car looks like it has had all it's work done at Falkland too but as I am new to Subarus (but not the jap car scene in Scotland!) I'm also looking for good places to work on the car. Hope to see you about... I always used The Garage in Wishaw when I had my FTO as Marc knows jap cars inside out, having modded a LOT of the good and the great you may have seen at Crail over the years :frosty: His own Skyline was an 11 second car.
  22. Thanks Gus...I'll maybe see what your beams look like at the next meet if I don't get some soon
  23. Well I did look on ebay at powerbulbs direct and on their drop down list it only had Impreza 93-00 I think...so was not sure if they were the same or not! A lot of places don't seem to list Newage for certain things... I'd always check stuff like that too b4 buying
  24. I just looked at the ones on that site and they are doing them with a free set of sidelights just now. Do we need 2 sets btw? One for main and one for dipped? It says H4 for both on their site - but I was not sure if the bulbs were just dual filament ones.
  25. I'm never sure if I should contact people about their business thru sites like this but I see he is in the insurance section posting about stuff so I guess it's ok My insurance doc also does not mention all my mods which I was concerned about (and did mention over the phone) - I assume Gary will know what stuff needs declared (i.e some don't mind cosmetic changes etc) but it depends if you want like for like in the event of an accident. Most are more bothered about enhancement which change the power of the car altho you could argue that major cosmetic changes could make a car more desirable to thieves.
