  1. go for bc's softer than teins, mine are much more compliant than standard or ppp sti springs. other halfs integra has teins and theyre definitely stiffer- i do nothing but b roads and im a good 10mph faster than on regular suspension
  2. why? what goes on at the harbour Rich? and how do you know?? when your not too tired Dale give us a shout, ive a palm tree here with a birthday drink for you
  3. i know people will disagree but coilovers are the way forward!! you still getting grief with yours Al? hows the desert anyway?
  4. many happy returns mate! im sure your lying on a lilo somewhere sipping pina coladas
  5. missed a bit... only kidding-awesome results on an awesome car Wayne-take it thats your bandit too judging by the shine!!!!
  6. definitely go to hypertech or progrip or similar and get the geometry done properly as it can make a big difference. and while there ask them(independent garage ) to check the struts as if your hearing a clunking... but the newages definitely dont handle like the classics-not without full coilovers and setup
  7. very nice Grant, sounds a beastie and subteltys much overrated!! only thing is--3 spokes!!!!! how early 90's- it come with some glow sticks too!!!
  8. great choice Col,had these on mine for a couple of months and love them -transforms the car! you fitting them yourself? believe awd are offering these instead of tein now for the same reason, price of teins and they were impressed when they fitted mine-first set theyd handled.
  9. Al,whatever you need to justify it do it!! apparently once theyre on its a 10 minute job per corner to adjust the height. and the bc's that i have on are now being sold by awd instead of teins on a cost to quality comparison basis, which i think will help give a boost in confidence with them.
  10. lovely wayne, cant wait to see it in the flesh after youve worked your magic!
  11. yea, been looking at that myself, really like the fd2's and the mugen is the daddy! but yea honda uk has lost their place a bit,dc5 integras are loadsa fun,and plenty entertaining enough with fwd
  12. devastated for you mate, cant imagine how gutted you are right now! but at least everyones ok and theres the chance for something new
  13. well i can reveal that happily number 555 is staying in scotland, just found out that my mate is the winning bidder! and i can confirm it wont be getting sold on,he's the guy who got me into scoobs when he had one of the first uk turbos back in 94 and he did the whole run in his rather immaculate type r- all in all a total impreza addict and huge mcrae fan,but doesnt post on here often. cant wait to get a squint at it myself!
  14. id go with that one or option 2,always been quite partial to the zero sports spoiler,a bit different to the norm and itl be top quality!
  15. john campbell, posts as jongleurs666 on here now and again
  16. i certainly am Jen,order a set now,you really wont regret it. havent got the geo done yet, must get it sorted soon but hoping to get the alk fitted first, save getting the geo done twice. i always seem to miss the meets with rb's at it hopefully catch up with you at the next one hoss!

  18. lol! resistance is futile- i bought a sti ppp so that i wouldnt need to do anything to it,managed a month but between modding and fuel you wont have much left for the pub, just a bottle of buckie in the hoose like the rest of us hopefully meet you at the next meet or if your coming to the snowman

  21. very nice Gus,looks very clean and standard-wonder how long will that last??
  22. nice to see the car clean and the coilovers look good-tempted to order another set for ornaments but dear god, whats that theyre sitting on,fluorescent tartan!! my eyes!!!!!!!
  23. t,so sorry i didnt make it,but i overenjoyed myself a bit at lornas brothers 21st and didnt want to risk driving-must invest in one of those home breathalysers! looks like it pulled together well, great way to meet new people, hope we can do another one soon,il definitely be there
  24. for fitting go with awd or hypertech, perth or bonnybridge, and for setup hypertech or progrip. my car came from eden too and i wouldnt trust them to set up a paper bag! i was advised by the very knowledgeable importer of whiteline that the anti lift kit and rear diff lock bolts were the best parts to fit. also adjustable top mounts would help a lot too,but i would think carefully before lowering the car any more if its already 45mm down. hope that helps a bit and welcome!! should pop down for the snowman and meet a few of us
