  6. so far im yet to see anyone with bc's complain about the ride being too hard-its definitely not as harsh as teins or as standard sti!

  10. first time on track yesterday and i loved it,was one of the slowest there but i doubt if many were having more fun few changes to the car should help but i think my hamfisted ness was the main problem lol,car didnt use any oil, brakes did very well and was amazed by the showing of my hankook/viking tyre combo! if anyone got any pics of the white 306 holding everyone up stick em up or send me a copy please!!
  11. this is getting beyond a joke feeling paranoid about taking the scoob out now! last week other half parked in a secure car park just off buccanon street and someone put a window in and grabbed her phone-cracked dented and no worth a fiver! wee f*****s!
  12. my vote goes to bc coilovers, half the price of teins and more compliant. get a whiteline antilift kit fitted at the same time then a proper setup by hypertech or progrip(both in bonny bridge) or similar and youl be amazed. after that you can do anti roll bars, drop links, strut braces etc but i think youl see the biggest improvement with the first 2,also anything after that doesnt have to have the geometry redone though it could be advisable to get it checked if you feel like it. im about 40 mm down on standard i think and wouldnt go much lower for practcality and getting into rollcentre adjusts etc
  13. excellent skye news skye grant skye, look forward skye to skye seeing it skye - dunno skye when skye that skye could be!
  14. with newage cars you really need to upgrade both headunit and speakers. 300 quid should get you decent speakers and hu then either fit yourself or go to a decent car stereo place and they should put it all together for 50 quid. id try somewhere decent locally and tell ythem your budget.-dont get halfords to do it if you can avoid it. and the parrot should work fine with any decent hu
  15. people are probably fed up with hearing me going on but i really really rate the bc coilovers, done about 2-3k miles on them and theyre so much better than the standard or prodrive suspension on newages. for just under £600 you cant go wrong with them,i find them more compliant and comfortable than teins. and for comparison purposes i believe subaru charge in the region of 300 per shock plus fitting and a good replacement shock is 100-150 plus fitting. get them on straight away Bobby, youl wish youd done it sooner. the tv end up going back then?
  16. sorry im not around to show you about big D,but im stuck down in dunoon, scoobless and working 13 hrs a day ho hum. but definitely take a run up over that road and if i can also recomend drumnadrochit to beauly,a personal fave of mine as a wee hijack have you noticed the skye run Gee? as you seem to keep seeing the run posts a week late thought id grab your attention lol!
