Saw this in the local rag and thought that some of our members might have known his cause its such a close community up that way, never thought it'd be an SIDC member. Terrible news, thoughts are with families and friends of those involved. Such a waste.

Aye, its a thankless task.. which is why I've been reluctant to put myself forward for it in the past and tried to support the people that are RO for the areas. You do a good job mate, make all the new members feel welcome when they show up at the meet and have genuine enthusiasm for Subaru.
Have yourself a wee beer and chill out.

Bet thats a lovely car to drive now mate... good to see your surprise uprated turbo had already been taken care of with some EcuTek mapping before.

While my keys aren't visible from a window/letterbox... they are extremely visible once inside the house, I'd prefer to deal with a s***ty insurance company with me/family being safe and sound than having to talk to a tool'd up skaghead at the bottom of my bed at 4am demanding keys to the cars.

If I was the size of an MX5 driver then I'd have had one by now to see what all the fuss was about...... but I'm not, so I havent.
Looks nice though, am I right in saying that the 1.8 comes with an LSD as standard??

I dont know.... young lads handbraking and revving around the place in Subarus....
Glad it turned out ok though mate, thats quite a tricky hill/junction to navigate without brakes!!

Nope, I need another car to take the dog out, because he doesnt get near the Scoob, so I have a runaround as well...... or did, before it all went wrong and the engine gave up in my trusty Rover.

Bloody hell, is that Nyle... long time no-see mate!!
I could get them done in Dundee for you, guy I know is absolutely spot on and doesnt charge the earth either.

If I ordered mine on the 4th... what are the chances that it'll be here for Fast and Modified towards the end of this month, IIRC its the 20th July??
Cheers,

Best of luck convincing Mrs W that this is another of those 'essential' things...... however, you could argue that if you do another few gearboxes, you'll end up paying more than £2k in the long run and you're only thinking of her really. No?

Absolutely love the look of this car, saw it at the AWD open day as well..... looks stunning, makes me want that spoiler more than ever!!
Cheers,
Grant
Bad news about this, but main things are that the car is repairable and you're ok.
Will try and dig out a card for a bodyshop in Kirriemuir that we used when someone decided to reverse into my sisters Civic Type-R and tear open the rear 1/4 panel with a towbar. Panel was repaired and you'd never know it was damaged, p1ggm has had work done there too and will back up the recommendation.
The guys name is Phil and I'm sure the place is called Autotech or something....... but will dig the card out tomorrow and update it for you.
Cheers,
Grant
