Wow, that is extremely fast... Peters is a 10-second car with a decent run and the right conditions. Jimser, yours is very quick too, 11.anything is impressive on the 1/4 mile IMO. Cheers, Grant

The 0-60 time and bonnet scoop dont add up... I saw the 0-60 and thought you'd gone for a Legacy Spec-B but then saw the bonnet scoop and wondered if the 0-60 was a misprint and you'd gone for a Legacy TDi... Arent the only performance Legacys with bonnet scoops the turbo'd Jap Import models?? Unless, you've had the scoop'd bonnet added as an extra............. hmmmmm, reveal all Ian. Cheers, Grant

Good to hear guys. Cheers, Grant

I cant even begin to imagine what that poor guy is feeling like...... there arent any lengths I wouldnt go to find the scum that did this if it was me, and I'm usually pretty chilled out as a lot of you know. Yes, there is an eyewitness, but the worst the offender will get once he/she is processed through the justice system is a wee trip to a holiday camp/prison for a few months. Cheers, Grant

PMSL @ The Showstopper......... you'd be brave to try that 'wave' out. Cheers, Grant

As long as I dont get truncheon/boot marks on the Spec-G or Pepper Spray in my eyes... I'd definitely be up for that too. Hmmmm, might get VOSA to check our cars though, damn should have bought a Sports CAT eh Welsho. Cheers, Grant

Its more of a subtle wave.. couple of fingers max, in case the other driver ignores you, so you dont get mugged off in front of your mates/family/partner and can pretend you were just moving your hand on the steering wheel. I know that Classic Mini Owners do it and RS Owners do it... again, similar idea to 'our' wave, subtle in case you dont get one back. Cheers, Grant
-
I really cant understand that either.... Cheers, Grant

Its not soooo bad considering how long you're £160 pot is going to last though.. but I agree that it would be a big mental hurdle to get over, I'd have to close my eyes when clicking 'confirm' for one detailing item at £160. Cheers, Grant

I agree with everything that JW said there... I hate this country and if it wasnt for family being here, then I'd pack my bags and be offski and I'd take my gas-guzzling Scoob with me. Cheers, Grant

Those two quotes alone are all I need to see to know how special this car is.......... hats off to you Jim, thats one serious bit of kit you have there. Cheers, Grant

Yep, had the Jap Angled H&S Backbox on my car a few days after buying it... sounded awesome, p1ggm now has it on his Classic STi and it still sounds/looks spot on. Cheers, Grant
-
That looks lovely... have a BIG soft spot for the current Legacy shape and drive. Much better bet than the WRX was. Cheers, Grant

To be honest mate, I'm not the most technically/mechanically minded person but I've never heard of a filter being mentioned in conjunction with Spark Plugs... I was also think it was an Air Filter, Pollen Filter or Oil Filter that they are talking about, however, the extract you show kinda blows that out the water!! Could always phone Subaru UK Customer Service and get them to clear it up I suppose. Cheers, Grant
-
Yea, however, if you treat it gently and look after it then it'll still give you some decent fun out on the open road... just unfortunate that you have got a bit of a taste for track stuff and that any potential weakness will be found out on track as the strain that all components are under is multiplied massively. There are people who break modified cars rather than sell as a package and lose a lot of money.. so would be worth keeping an eye out on here, Scoobynet and also Pistonheads Parts section. Sometimes the PH Parts bit turns up parts that I havent seen on the other places I check. Cheers, Grant
-
That is lovely... they go pretty well too. Cheers, Grant

Really happy for you mate, glad its all coming together after this time. Sounds like a weapon!! There's some of us scratching around with 300-odd bhp and then you boys come along with your big boostin' turbos and trick blocks and kick the ball out the park. Hat off to all you guys pushing the limits, I remember when people were aiming to smash the 350bhp barrier!! Cheers, Grant
-
Wow, pretty awesome turnaround mate... it'll be soooo satisfying once you finish, stand back and see the difference. Cheers, Grant
-
Lovely pics... some of the cars look pretty rank though, IMO. Cheers, Grant

Have to say, I had the Revolution one... and it shattered when I pinged into a hidden dip @ 15-20mph. I've now got an HT Autos plastic one and its had a very brief encounter with a kerb but there are NO marks on it at all, must have just taken the stress. I found that the mountings were identical between Revolution Splitter and HT Autos Splitter. Cheers, Grant

I think that Greers quoted me around £2000-£2200 to supply and carry out a 6spd conversion to a Classic that I was thinking about... however that was a wee while ago now, maybe 2-3 years. Cheers, Grant

Thats the look I went for with my Meercat 3" System... seems to be a bit of a trend with people wanting the Prodrive look!! Mine sounds pretty subtle down low, but higher up the revs its got a real roar to it.. which is exactly what I asked for. Cheers, Grant
