  2. I had that problem on mine.......turns out a garage had put the springs on upside down......somehow!! Cheers, Shep
  3. Well having just joined the boys in blue, quite a few of my colleagues seem to find it amusing to rib me for my "boy racers" car, but that's as far as it goes really. It's always nice when the folk that slag you off ask you for a shot erm............... no! Cheers, Shep
  4. Gorgeous car you've just bought mate, welcome to the club Shep
  5. OK, I'll admit it............I was jumping up and down when the video got to 9minutes! Just incredible driving! Shep
  6. Thanks for that bud I had the scoob over on the Isle of Harris last summer and drove up and through Skye but didn't really have time to stop and admire. Think a road trip is order Cheers, Shep
  7. That looks like an awesome trip you folks had What castle is it that's in the photos? I'm gonna have to pay a visit now, it's incredible Cheers, Shep
  8. "Get out of me way pleeeeease!!" Ever so polite at times isn't he?
  9. I like the spoiler! And the outrageous claim that the back seats have never been sat on! Shep
  10. It was the flexi line that went. Not being that clued up on the old mechanics of the brakes am not sure if that's a good thing it was only that that went or not. They had it sorted within a few hours anyway. The car had braided hoses on when I got it but it's only the front that have them now. Apparently the same must have happened to the other rear as the mechanic said that was just a standard one as well. Will probably get around to getting braided put back on to the rears but I'm just glad I can stop properly Cheers, Shep
  11. It certainly raised the bpm by a few counts that's for sure. Just got a call from the garage. £100 for new brake line plus bleeding of all 4 corners. Score!
  12. Well was travelling into Broughty Ferry yesterday afternoon to see a man about a dog blah blah blah. Driving down fairfield road (pretty steep brae for all you non-Scumdonians out there) when my offside rear brake line decides it doesn't want to be stay in one piece and splits! Lost all pressure in the braking system and the ever pending T-junction at the bottom is giving me the evil eye. So much hand braking and down changing followed and a swift wee prayer to the big chap upstairs and the road was clear at the bottom and the speed was slow enough to let me take the turning. Ended up having to get the old pick up truck to take me to the garage where she's getting fixed just now. Moral of the story: Always take out RAC cover a week before anything goes wrong with you car! Saved myself £200 on the tow. Hoping the damage to the wallet ain't too bad when I get her later on. Stupid bl@@dy thing!
  13. Well I gave her a good warm up this morning and she's running no bother. Am going to stick it in to the garage for a wee diagnostic just for peace of mind I reckon Thanks chaps Cheers, Shep
  14. It's running a panel filter mate, not sure if the resonator is off though? TBH, don't even know what that is haha! Would it be pretty obvious is the MAF was needing a clean? I mean would it be visible? Shep
  15. It's a Terzo mate. What's a CEL? I suppose the fact that I didn't see anything come on would suggest that it didn't, but you never know. If it is the MAF is it an easy fix or will it hump the old credit card? Shep
