  1. Ouch. Some black bags, a hacksaw & some quicklime should make sure that never happens twice though.
  2. Looking good John - whats next on the mod list? Did you get that wee mark on your alloy wheel sorted by the way?
  3. I use a brillo pad - seriously, i'm not joking. You just need to be careful if there is graphics attached to your mudflaps. I've also just ordered a tub of that poorboys pink wax stuff, hopefully it'll be here the morra.
  4. Nice find there Neil [Y] You going down this route?
  5. Hullo there Barry & welcome to the SIDC [Y] Might see you cutting about round this area as I work in Bellshill
  6. You Have Private Message
  7. I had my front windows checked with one of those devices earlier this year - my windows, i was told, were slightly below the 70% and i was further advised that they were not issuing producers that night, they were only acting as an advisory service.
  8. Well there's Brian's Primera GT up for sale for £1.5K if that would be of interest? I did consider it but the Mrs. said no.
  9. Aye, but she makes up for her good deed by booting my drivers door in later on! Women eh? Different species.
  10. Welcome. You should be in a good position to tell us about this "new" optimax we've been hearing rumours about. Myth or fact?
  11. The Cinq is indeed a great car.... most of the time! http://www.scotcruise.com/featurecars/alai...cinq/cinq18.jpg
  12. Na, if I can afford that when lezcazscoob is selling it, i'm having that. Definitely.
  13. Aye those are nice wheels right enough. When can we all expect the unveiling of the "fat boy" STi?
  14. Cheers for that - i'll nip over to his site & have a look. [Y]
  15. How long are you planning to keep it? MIGHT (stress might) be interested in taking it off your hands if your only keeping it for a short while.
  16. I did indeed own a Cinq - wasn't a sporting though. Just a wee crappy 1.0litre black one. It was a lot of fun though, I had it lowered with Abarth alloys and all side windows + the rear were tinted to the darkest possible. How much did you pay for it lezcazscoob?
  17. on tinted windows. So beware any Scooby owners with tints. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/5253252.stm
  18. Sure Martin.... I didn't mean any offence by my post, I was just wanting to put my view across.
  19. In the interests of fairness I feel I should point out that he skidded on ice, which you omitted from your "rant". He was also sentenced on Friday, not today. Whilst the loss of any life is tragic I think it's important to realise that this man did not deliberatley drive his car into these people. He skidded on ice. Yes, his tyres were below the legal limit but the whole point of driving about with tread on our tyres is to disperse water - otherwise we would all be driving about on slicks. So I don't think his tyres would make any difference if he is gliding over ice, and it would appear that is also the opinion of the police accident investigators. Of course, if one of my loved ones had perished in similar circumstances I would want the man's head on a stick (probably) but I think this man was fairly sentenced for his crime. Perhaps the relatives should be looking at taking action against the local highways department for failing to grit the road, but I am not in possesion of the full facts behind this crash. It is also worth noting that this man's speed has not been mentioned in anyof the reports i've seen so that probably wasn't a factor.

  21. With no badges, just the boot lock. Got a bodyshop to do it, tenner i think it was.
  22. Must have been half asleep, never even noticed a 406, never mind someone waving out of it! Cheers for the comments though.
  23. Dipsy... fairly confident neither of those cars belong to Spince - they are probably just pics he has found on the net somewhere.
