I don't think your really suppose to clean them. There supposed to be self cleaning. You coul try electrical solvent. I'd wait for other advice first.

Yes a faulty maf would allow it to run fine up until the boost comes in.

I had it for 2 years and it was just time for a change. By the time i priced up all the stuff i needed (wheels/tyre) and all the stuff I wantred.....................in the end i opted for a change. Thasts all. I'll miss scooby ownership (no waving/nice follk/etc).

We went for my 30th. Glasgow to Ashford, stayed in the travel lodge 1st ferry over ther water, then drove to Adenau and stayed here http://www.hotel-an-der-nordschleife.de It overlooked Ex-hume corner. And has a rather dodgy german adult channel. Discovered this at 6.30am on a sunday morning (not expecting that) Great restraunt called Pinnochios on the high street, just remember that german medium steak is like our rare, so ask for well done Stayed there for a couple of days then drove via Stuttgart to Geneve for the motorshow, stayed there for a couple of days Then drove home. 3000 miles in a week, in a week old sti hatch!!!! Brilliant Do as many laps as you possibly can on the xbox/playstation. This will not help at all with speed. The cambers / blind corners / brows are completly different in real life. BUT will really help with knowing what series of corners is coming up next . Is brillant Enjoy it a lot. best website ever is Ben Lovejoys. Theres a quick review of my trip on the scottish forum somewhere, do a search. If you decide to drive DO NOT FORGET and I mean DO NOT FORGET:: 1. driving licenses and insurance certifiactee ( massive fines if you dont have them & several hours in a police station) 2. You driving abroad kit ( warning triangle, bulb kit, floresecent vests (1 for every passenger) etc). Check the AA website. Its something like a 50 euro fine for every missing item. 3. If you end up in switzerland then they fine you for every km/h over the limit and it will cost you lots. 4. Find out how to adjust your headlights for driving on the right. They will fine you. (If you drive a hatch, then you have to get the headlamp sticker coz the thoughtfull people at subaru did not think of putting in switch for this purpose) 5. Watch drink drive limits, there less than the uk 6. Check the opening times for the ring, I think there listed as public days. 7. Remeber its just a public road and it has speed limits, the local polic have been known to speed trap it, but very rarely. 8. Your insurance will not cover you for the ring. Check the small print. The ring is just a public 'toll road' but most insurance has a smal print for the ring. 9. You can get insurance to cover you but its expensive and the excess will be about £2500. Sound a lot to be wary of but its not really, just drive sensibly and stay to thhe right, indicating to let folk pass and it will go fine. Dont go hell for leather, just take your time and take it all in. You have to do around 50 laps before you can start to press on safley, so take you time and just enjoy the experience of driving the most demanding circuit in the world!!!! No points for going fast.
