  1. I thought there maybe a £5 donation for santa cruise for the privledge of pax lap as this is the last SIDC track day..[] I'd be more than happy to contribute a fiver for a pax lap - never been round the track before and felt my last trip up there on a SIDC day was a bit wasted. Higgy promised to give me a pax lap this time but he's out, and st3ph3n has also offered for this time - anyone offer me a back-up seat incase st3ph3n can't make it or is booked-up?
  2. Yea, but since i'm no expert on the differences between Dot 4, Dot 5.1 etc - my knowledge so far tells me the only difference is the boiling point is higher? So if i'm not cooking the brakes on track or on the road it won't matter to me?
  3. Is 5.1 REALLY neccessary for me? I don't put my car on the track, and rarely hammer it on the road - just the occasional run organised by members on here (and i'm always in the 'slow' group)
  4. Forgive my ignorance on this if what i'm about to say is incorrect, but is there not a lot of opinion around about the eibach's being a bit of a nuisance for knocking in the spring cups? [:S]
  5. Thanks for the PM's & text's guys.... got a few options to be thinking about [] Although the car is going into Ian Grieve's next Wednesday for a 40K service, and that includes changing the brake fluid apparently... so i MAY just get them to do it while it's in. [Y]
  6. Here's one I prepared earlier...

  18. I don't read the Sun but apparently there was a quote from JC in it where he said something along the lines of Hamster could talk but it was all gibberish and mutterings. So said the news reporter on Sky earlier this afternoon. Hope that aint correct. Edit: Just had a look at the justgiving site and it's now slightly below £60K. Wow.

  22. I think the doctors were choosing their words carefully, because they said they are "reasonably optimistic" he would make a good recovery. Hope he makes a FULL recovery, very quickly - top gear won't be the same without him.
  23. Congratulations Gus - this mean more money for mods now? []
  24. 0208 288 0275 is his number - I think you MIGHT need to be a paid-up SIDC member to get the special prices, but worth calling him to ask though.
