  1. As per our earlier MSN conversation - excellent results. I bet a sledgehammer couldn't shift the grin on your coupon today [Y]
  2. A thank you to everyone who PM'd me with suggestions & advice - the problem has now been resolved [Y]
  3. Donald Mine is a blobeye (2003) and I have 13cm's in the back doors.
  4. I got the scoob almost two years ago and the first run I went on was the March one where we went down the south-west of scotland. Had a braw time but unfortunately I can't make this one. A combination of being skint (new kitchen), mothers day + the fact that the 1st GP of the season is on TV real early that morning (which I won't miss for all the V-Power in shell-land) Have fun folks, looking forward to seeing the pics [Y]
  5. Is L555 TAB not available? Nice tie-in with the ciggies there.
  6. Folks, I need some advice on which MOT station I should take my car to, but first a bit of background.. I've got a sunstrip on the top of the windscreen, which took me ages to source due to the fact that I wanted the colour of the vinyl to be the same as the colour of the car. I also wanted it to cover the fixing for the mirror mounted in the middle of the screen, so it's quite deep. Quite a few places have told me that it wont pass because of the sunstrip. I REALLY don't want to remove the vinyl - can anyone suggest somewhere who might be able to help me out? Or any other suggestions that don't include removing the sunstrip. If in the end I need to remove it then so be it but ideally i'd like it left on if possible. Willing to travel Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife, Stirling etc. Cheers P.S. Answers by PM might be best []
  7. Welcome to the forum Urban - beautiful car you BOTH have got there [] Hope to see you or the Mrs out n about in it [Y]
  8. Looks braw Gus [Y] Maybe a little 'bare' though? Needs a wee sunstrip or a few choice graphics carefully placed IMHO - haven't read all 3 pages so maybe you've said your planning on doing that! Andy
  9. AND http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-1253722,00.html This story says "Tesco has set up a helpline for people who fear they may have been affected: 0800 028 6428"
  10. Ciaran This link - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6407447.stm - seems to show that there have been some people affected in Dundee.

  13. When faced with these kind of difficulties I often find the answer by thinking "How would the Lone Ranger handle this?"
  14. I've had some problems with my battery today... Not been using the car much over the last 2-3 weeks (maybe 3 times and all short local trips) - each time the car has been a wee bit reluctant to start & I get a chirp from the alarm when turning over but it does catch. Today, however, it started (just) outside the house but when I went to start it again outside the shops in Whitburn "she" wasn't having any of it. Phoned George Orr down at Xtreme motorsport (01501 741548 - top blokes by the way) and he came up and gave me a jump start. Looks like i'm needing a new battery (car is 4 years old now) - so where is the best place to get one? Don't mind paying a wee bit extra for the best of gear (instead of paying pennies for a no-name battery that might last a week) All opinions welcomed - cheers
  15. Looks braw @ the height it is just now. I agree with the others - raise the mudflaps and leave the ride height as is.
  16. That looks superb Andy - looking forward to seeing it 'in the flesh' [Y]
  17. White are a nightmare to keep clean Fee. On a black car i'd stick with the gold
  18. Looks good Kit - hope you don't get any bother from your colleagues!
  19. I don't know whats worse - this story or the one i've linked to below. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/south_...and/6293823.stm Will they install cameras to watch the cameras that watch the cameras?
  20. Sorry to hear about your accident, hopefully it will be repairable
