  1. Nice one Grant [Y] When does the modding begin?
  2. Welcome Chris [Y] My auld granny lives over at Spateston & my Aunty Linda lives over in Howwood.
  3. Maybe because I think you used to have an avatar picture of a black scooby pretty much buried in snow, and I always assumed it was a picture of your own car.
  4. For some reason I always thought you had a black car andy [:S] I'm also interested in the after pics - I had the chips away bloke out recently to quote for the stone chips on my bonnet & the leading edges of both front wings but he said there were too many & i'd be better getting it done at a bodyshop. Fair play to the bloke for saying that straight off.
  5. Got mine this morning (Tuesday) [Y] Well done for the write-up Scott - was I there on that occasion though? Canny remember [:S]
  6. You won't go wrong browsing http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk - lots of good guides with pictures and an online shop where you can buy some really good gear [Y]
  7. What are you running now Andy? These ones John - clicky - KEI Force 10 18" in Hypersilver with Toyo T1S tyres
  8. Hullo there & welcome to the club [Y]
  9. Very nice Ali [Y] Think i'll leave my white wheels another few weeks yet though
  10. ooooOOOooo... Get him! Always diplomatic eh? Very nice car Noel [Y]
  11. What would be your rates for coming to take a few decent pics of mine once I get it back from the bodyshop?
  12. Tinabeth? Really? Tinabeth? Na, that canny be her real name. Surely?
  13. Sorry to hear that stripe []
  14. Was wondering why I hadn't got mine & then realised that my memebrship has probably expired. Remind me again someone - how do I go about checking (the membership card is in the car & I haven't got the car at the moment) and if it's expired how do I renew it? oobster

  16. According to the guy doing mine it's just a case of taking the lock off, welding a plate over the hole then a wee bit filler, and then painted. As I said to Ac!d, dunno how much he's charging me just for this one thing. Which might not be getting done now, since they can't remove the boot spoiler. Spoke to the previous owner of my car 2 years ago & they said the only problem they had with it was a water leak into the boot. Apparently it was back to the dealer 4 times to have this looked at, and the bodyshop are now telling me that it looks like they have bonded the whole underside of the spoiler onto the bootlid to fix the water leak. This means that to get the spoiler off will probably result in the bootlid or the spoiler being damaged (or both). []
  17. i was wondering aboot getting delocked as well, any idea on the prices yet? Dunno mate, i got an all-in-one price for a few bits & pieces I wanted done (mostly stone-chip damage to the front) Neil - only just noticed the other alloys on the 'AFTER' pics - they wheels + the de-badge would be stunning. [Y]
  18. So the bootlid would need painted? If so, how about going the whole hog & getting the boot de-locked too. Mine is in getting that done just now for the ultra-smooth look.
  19. Yup - i'd say nicer after. Go for it. Only thing is - the subaru badge in the middle of the boot lid - isn't that held on by a nut/bolt that goes thru a hole in the metal?
  20. Nice one - when's the first 'mod' happening then? []
