I thought Sky had full coverage of practice, qualifing and the race? I dont mind regardless, I love my Sky Sports!

I am 99.9% convinced they are red herrings! The amount of times they changed the layout of the road and the cameras moved overnight. Now I am not a engineer, but surely to re lay electricty cables takes more than 2 hours? I have tested this on a daily basis now for 3 months by sitting at 50 mph and I aint heard a thing. I dont condone speeding, but.....no workers on road, no bloody 40mph cameras please!

The volvo was a project by the touring car peeps there, so its not even worth considering. The scoob, well its really a cosworth in a scooby chassis, since they basically through all the subaru stuff away and rebuit its engine from scratch. I will never be a fan on the new scooby, even that one still just does not have any presence, well except the costworth badge! The focus RS is awesome, having had a test drive of a standard RS, it blew me away and I could not believe the handeling and grip it had. TBH I thought it felt much better than my subaru ever did when I still had it. For 15k less, sorry, but thats a no brainer if you were looking at them. With previous comment in topic regarding F1 teams would do kartwheels for 3 secs at 15k. Well in the real world I think i would rather live with it than fork out that much. Plus is the scooby not limited, so the ford would get it after 155. lol

I thought the proposed blockages were being proposed by the Unions in relation to pay and pensions, or am I thinking of another or different planned blockage. I agree that the price of fuel is rediculous and something needs to be done to help the motorist out, however I am so sick of these unions constantly seeing disadvantaging the public as a way of negoatiating with the companies. Fuel, public transport, airports, etc. Its high time that the goverment come down hard on these unions. Do you know that they dont even need to have a minimun of 50% of there members vote to call a strike! Mental. Rant over!

Never mind that one - has anyone taken a cheeky short cut over the Queen Street Bridge in Glasgow? I done it on Saturday, and ended up hitting this crator and managed to burst my 5 week old winter tyre!! Had to change it in the dirty grit coloured water at side of road in Bath Street. Burst the sidewall , so I had to get another at 85 notes. Cant claim it either as its a bus/taxi lane! Seen there has been two notes on it right enough the past two days on Metro Mail. I suspect the flooding in Australia is due to the amount of melting snow draining down it and causing the rivers to rise badly in Australia!!!

Thats just scare mongering by the press. I called Tesco and they told me that its fine, and they in fact made a note on my record that I had fitted the recommended tyres for the season. Made no difference to my premium. The ones I have are actually classed as all year round tyres. Bridgestone A001's. I have not noticed any change in the road noise. Again I cant sing their praise any more. I guess to be safe you should contact your insurance company before you purchase if concerned.

I finally bit the bullet and got myself some winter tyres - and already after 1 day, what a difference they make! As you may know I have a focus these days, so over the past two weeks the FWD with normal road tyres has been a total nightmare. My street still has thick snow and ice and I usually have to gun it wheels spinning just to get upto my garage. Tonight I coasted past my neighbour stuck on a flat bit of road and black ice. I even stopped on the ice to see if he wanted a push. You should have seen his face when I just pulled away without so much of a wheel spin!! Reckon I will get at least 3 winters out of them so at 95 notes a tyre for 205/55/16 not bad! Highly recommend them!

I have been a member or follower for over 5 years now. This site when I joined was jam packed with scoobie followers and the meets in scotland were always packed. I had many a good ice cream with Paul. Who was central organiser and sweet tooth of the mob! Anyway, even though I have not have the scoob for three years I always kept in touch and online, but the brotherhood and sisterhood had died. I need to ask the question...................................why? I liked this place so much and the meets I have never not visited on a daily basis, but the will is fading!

Hey guys - you may remember it was about 3 years ago I killed my UK impreza turbo. Stoopid me never took gap insurance when I bought it and did not to well out of the insurance claim! Any how I also inherited a few pointed for speeding in the scoob - damn my lead foot!!! So 3 years ago a bought a focus to tide me by, nice sensible 1.8 ghia! hmmm!!!! Have to admit that i liked how it drived for a standard front wheel drive. I used to have 220bhp @ the wheels rs turbo escot, so had a soft spot for ford! Anyhow, it was 8 years old and due service, timing belt and mot this month - decided to ditch it and get a ....................................focus!!! Sorry, but i have totally went back to ford! Got myself a nice 09plate focus zetec. Couple of pics below! Hate it you may, but i like it. Unusual colour and I have to admit with the sports suspension the front end is planted!! Already had to pay 120 notes though, some prat hit the wing mirror on A82 road after I had it two days and smashed the side repeater! Damn foriegners! Again, I still visit daily and love the scooby!!
