  1. The car101.com website VIN decoder page is for US car VIN's only. As I stated in my PM to you the JDM VIN will be in the form GC8-******
  2. "geesea-ate" or correctly GC8 is purely the body shape code for a classic (pre 2001) saloon. Would need much more than that to say its an STi
  3. The impreza hasn't died it lives on as the non performance version. The latest Impreza will be arriving in the UK next year. It's already available in the US.............. Saloon..... Hatchback...... Have not heard which version Subaru UK will bring in, maybe both. You can already check out the Impreza XV (crossover version)at your local dealer. It looks much better in the flesh than in the pictures. Will be interesting to see what the new WRX/WRX STi really looks like as all renditions so far seem to be based on the 2012 Impreza.

  8. Shouldn't be a problem but you won't gain the full benefit without a remap and you "shouldn't" get a CEL
  9. Craig, can you clarify a bit....... Miltek cat back - OK Scorpion Decat - What do you actually mean, decat up pipe, 2nd cat replacement pipe or both cat removal combined down pipe?? Knowing this will make answering your question easier
  10. ILFR7H is what you need............ http://bbs.scoobynet.com/showpost.php?p=9472169&postcount=4
  11. The STi doesn't need a new silicone hose as it has a cast Y pipe and only a short 90 deg red hose.
  12. Prodrive spring kit for MY05-07................. http://imdomino.imgroup.co.uk/imggb/www/subaru_accessories.nsf/WebInternetAccessories/69C3DF6F736DC67C80257584003A684C?Opendocument
  13. Ah, the US always behind the times Over here it would just be another badge to remove .............
  14. Subaru doesn't show a pdf document for this MY upgrade on their old website but will be "similar" to the MY03/04 STi PPP http://imdomino.imgroup.co.uk/imggb/www/subaru_accessories.nsf/WebInternetAccessories/844788B8022F3F508025758300518D02?Opendocument http://imdomino.imgroup.co.uk/IMGGB/WWW/Subaru_Accessories.nsf/NULL/6B0125769554919D80256DDD003AF2C9/$FILE/03MY%20STi%20PPP.pdf http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=49477&f=1

  19. Having owned a P1 - great fun but was a pain with all the speed bumps that were being introduced at the time and only 2 door. Have spoken to/heard from an owner of a 22B that as original not a joy to drive unless the suspension is sorted for UK roads. Current Saloon with 340R map plus some nice additional STi tweaks :D
  20. Interesting, no it belonged to Pete Croney with his wife April driving at the time. I was behind the camera that day as a spectator
  21. Flathead, curious about your avatar.................... This photo taken at Wroughton in 1998
  22. The short springs on the top are just "helper springs" (as mentioned in the text) to take up the slack, similar to AST Sportlines...........
