  1. The 300 refers to the number being produced not the HP. http://www.iwoc.co.uk/my2001uk300.html UK special editions......... http://www.scouk.net/subaru-impreza/special-edition-subaru-impreza-rb320-uk300-p1-wr1-rb5-22b/ You would have to be more specific with the year/model.
  2. A good save there Tony Happy new Year to one and all
  3. It looks as if its for the oil modine cooling lines but without knowing model and year a bit difficult to advise. Looks to be P/N 807611031, which is the same for most..........(except the Hatch) For Classic - item 4 for Newage - item 4
  4. Yes it's sometimes pointless using the registration year as some vehicles hang around a bit before being registered. you need to know the actual "Model Year" (MY) which is included in the VIN number. I did this post over on Subaruforester.org. The Year character information is the same for the imprezas.... http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/764413-post1.html
  5. You shouldn't have any problems with dirt in the line as you have a filter on the pump inlet and a fuel filter under the bonnet. The main thing you need to check is if the pump is priming the system. You can disconnect the outlet from the filter under the bonnet and check you have fuel there. This thread should help....... http://www.subaru-impreza.org/forum/engine-bay/89832-how-change-fuel-filter.html
  6. You're opening up a bit of a hornets nest but AFAIK the initial problem was an OEM mapping problem at or about WOT. The "problem" seems to have been cured by running the map slightly richer at the top end to add some degree of protection and for "normal" use seems to be the answer.
  7. How much fuel did you put in it? Fuel is pumped by a submerged electric pump in the fuel tank to the injectors in the inlet manifold with any excess returning to the tank. towing it to "run petrol into the engine" isn't going to do anything. When you turn the key to the "ign" position can you hear the fuel pump start up and prime the system? if not you may not have enough fuel in the tank or you may have killed the pump.
  8. If you want to speak to Duncan Graham about open source give him a buzz http://racedynamix.co.uk/
  9. Phil, Wouldn't have thought doing it on a 330s was worthwhile either, it already comes with a freer flowing backbox as part of the prodrive package.
  10. Could have done with a hole through it for hanging up
  11. Unfortunately comparing like for like doesn't work as "just an old Hawkeye" or a "new fangled thingy" still requires a freer flowing exhaust which is the major cost of the upgrade + it keeps it warranty. How much of your £2K was spent on exhaust upgrades and is it still warranty friendly ????
  12. Phil it's not so much the power increase but the TORQUE increase from 332Lbft @ 3400rpm for the 320R to over 360Lbft @3600rpm for the 340R Makes a big difference. ............and it's warranty friendly

  15. Was that after a visit to the pub ??
  16. Taken from http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2579 UK price will depend how Subaru UK spec the BRZ for here.........

  18. Part number you quote is AFAIK for the single button key. One of the Lads on Subaru forester forum was quoted £25 +VAT for one by a dealer who then managed to inflate that to £120!! but he was a bit naive about it, despite advice given prior to his visit http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/1112935-post37.html
  19. Have emailed elliott, just "down the road" for me
  20. What sort of time are they looking at? Should have checked first 11:30am http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/event_view.aspx?event_id=2621&date=10/12/2011%2000:00:00
  21. That would be correct. The WRX was also supplied in some regions without a spoiler. Can't make it any clearer............. http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/en_g11/type_13/electronic/lamp_high_mount_stop_lamp/illustration_1/
  22. I expect its for a high level brake( market dependant) that fits at the base/middle of the rear window, similar to the 2011 WRX STi Sedan. Try wiring up a bulb temporarily to it and apply the brakes (ignition on)
