Ok so I ordered this one: http://www.model-car-world.co.uk/Product.aspx?product=au58681b It has the correct colours and I figured it was better to get one that was too new than too old. I'll probably see her again in March so watch this space for an update.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm thinking it is most likely a blob 2003-2005 STi as noted above and she may have rounded up from 280 to 300bhp. She said that when she parked it up people would take pictures of it which would suggest it wasn't a hatch as the salons with massive wings are more photogenic. I'll see if I can source a model of one of those. I'll let you know whether she likes it or not.

Hi, a Girl I know owned an Impreza and due to circumstances she had to sell it and she cried when the buyers came to pick it up. I would like to get her a model to cheer her up although all I know about the car is that: It is 300BHP stock (no modifications). It was metallic blue and had the gold wheels. Does this ring any bells or could it be any number of models? Thanks
