might be looking the part ex in the next few months leading up to the good weather returning REALLLLLYY fancy a P1, but I don't no a great deal about them. the only thing i really know about specific impreza faults are the bottom end's. was wondering if you guy's could shed some more light on the matter for me. and what is the handling like with a the prodrive stuff. I was actually going to get a Version3 WRX but I chose my current car over it because their was nothing diffrent in the terms of performance but the GT4 just seemed to handle a better (maybe just me) so was wondering how much of a diffrence that made.

I've currently got that itch of looking for a new car but you can never tell if it's just a phase cause it's time to spend on my own car or because i actually do want a new car. Anyway Impreza's I don't know alot about them apart from the bottom ends can be a big problem. I've currently been looking at Sti's version's 4 to 6. as I think they are still the best looking ones. If i could get any advice on what to look for a if there's a buyers guide on the site that would be awesome.

Hi I'm Berny and just joined the forum. I havn't got a Impreza and am currently driving a GT-four st205. but Insurance has gone up by 200 quid ''nice one'' dont know why. but I always mess around a get quotes on other car's to see what interests me and how much they would be etc.. and I can insure a 1997 Impreza wrx Sti for what I was origionally paying on the celica... I could even get a Supra RZ for only 180 pound more than the gt4 but thats another story couldnt afford the petrol. so with the impreza being a faster car for the boy in me and it been slightly more practical to bring the missus round I think it could be time for a change. So thought I would join here to hear the pro's about Impreza's, and what to look for when buying one. I asked on the GT4oc and pepole obviously said stick with the gt4. I asked on JNE and got mixed responce's. only saw point that stuck out in my mind was someone said they were common ''dirty word haha'' anyway harped on alot could I just get a link to a buyers guide or someone give me the good points of owning one etc. ??
