micra_wrc replied to fai17's topic in Scottish Scoobies
yeah, just want one to potter about in perhaps one with a full interior and a soft suspension! Its a bit of a change from driving a 1.3L car that no one bats an eyelid at to driving one of those -

I'm a new wee girl looking for help please !!!
micra_wrc replied to fast-bits-chloe's topic in Scottish Scoobies
this is thread is hilarious. i cant believe you've had over 200 replies and 103 PMs edited to say in 36 hours welcome to the forum Chloe from another girl from scottish scoobies, tho it looks like the regulars have given you an extremely warm welcome if and when you go to a meet, all you need to say is 'i'm chloe' and the lads will know who you are! hope you get your perfect scooby and that you have as much fun driving her as you seem to be having here Imy x -
silver would look nicer cal and i see that the big red "strictly no parking in front of gates" sign doesnt apply to scoobs

micra_wrc replied to gus the bus's topic in Scottish Scoobies
yeah, good pics Gus. it was a nice day and it was a pleasure doing something so worthwhile, even with the early start this morning the cars looked nice all done up and we dropped off a good haul of toys today (it was ace to hear how much the x-box and ps2 means to the kids) spooks and rosie...... thanks for organising this, you've done a swell job. bet you'll breathe a sigh of relief now its over! andy.... good venue for lunch santa....... well done and ho ho ho sharon...... nice meeting your daughter and I LOL when I heard about the jiggling t'was good meeting everyone again/for the 1st time -
this year has been a turbulent year for Scottish Scoobies and also the Glasgow region so glad to hear you are sticking with it Billy. perhaps for 2006 we should agree to disagree and try to get along instead of expanding too fast and getting into bother
-
nice one del + kate. grant and I have managed to get just under £300 from generous folk in our work. planning to go present shopping tomorrow. money..... check gift tags.... check sellotape...... check wrapping paper.... check opening hours for toys R us.... check (am on a bit of a (natural) high as uni books are now out of sight until next year)
-
perhaps slightly girly but last year, I made up some SIDC gift tags on blue paper LOL If you want some for this year's event, PM me your postal address and will try and get some to you.
-
Grant and I are collecting donations through our work and will be doing some pressie shopping mid-week next week. We will split what we buy and give half to Edinburgh Sick Kids and half to Yorkhill. Spooks, I touch goats Added our name to the Lothians list and, time permitting, may come along to the Glasgow drop. We supported Glasgow last year and feel it is right to make the effort to join the Edinburgh convoy. If time is too tight, will drop off the presents ear marked for Yorkhill to someone in the Glasgow convoy before Sunday 11th. Lothians List: 1) Spooks 2) Gus the Bus 3) Squirrel and Imy
