the logo was a small part a bigger plan - i needed a logo to put on the clothes to get the clothes made up for certain events last summer. the concept was to try and capture the "scottish" bit (=saltire) with the "scooby" bit (=stars and oval) and the url was an after thought, which prob explains why it may be hard to make out [:^)] squirrel's recap is pretty much accurate, except the wider community did not have the chance to be involved in deciding which logo to adopt, as we didnt have enough time. Gayle and I had spoken at several meets that we were going to make clothes up for the club and asked folk to come up with ideas for logos. Rice Rocket said he'll do it, but unfortunately it didnt happen. When we asked Car Artz, I think I only had about a week to get the logo made up and approved by Phil to fit into my bigger plan to make the clothes happen in time and luckily they managed to mock up some designs for me. I quite like the current one but then again, I'm biased cos i was involved in getting it made up [] imy

I had started doing the Scottish Scoobies clothes last year but had to stop cos work/uni was getting too much Now that I have a bit more spare time, I think I’ll start doing some more batches of clothes (the idea of making them available through the SIDC club shop didn’t actually happen) as there have been a recent increase in newbies and a few folk have been asking where they can get them. The clothes come with your personalised user name, which helps identify folk at meets/events. I will collate all your orders, liaise with my clothing supplier here in Glasgow, pick them up from him when ready and will get the clothes to you either via post or face to face. This is what to do: have a look at the catalogue to see what you want fill in the order form and email to me “micra_wrc AT yahoo.co.uk pay me [] – either via cheque or cash wait 6-8 weeks whilst I get them made up I’ll let you know when they will be ready to arrange pickup/let you know they have been posted The reason it takes this long is that I will be charged £8 for any orders less than 20 items. To make them as cheap as possible for you, you will have to wait for a wee bit (I know this may be hard for the impatient ones []). the prices are rounded up slightly and any profits will go towards a scottish scoobies fund or the Santa Cruise if we're doing one this year. Managed to raise around £200 for last year's Santa Cruise, which was evenly split between Glasgow Yorkhill Hospital and Edinburgh Sick Kids. aye, i wish we went to aviemore too [] but squirrel and I decided to head home after Perth we were in the 1st group of cars leaving Stirling and thought that we were behind Wilky..... only realised the convoy was behind us after we burlied round at the big roundabout in Perth and saw u guys. it was an awesome sight seeing the convoy from the other side of the carriageway [] will sort through pics later and post up any clear ones i have (squirrel was the photographer today since I was the driver!) well done wilky, g-mac and everyone involved in this fabulous event [Y] imy ps - best comment i had was when gr555 asked me what grant had done to the bodykit and i had to correct him saying that he was looking at my scooby, not the squirrel's lol
