  1. Nowt wrong with Blobs my first scoob was a blob WRX - it's now the other halfs first scoob after i signed it over to her when i bought the Lichfield. Took the WRX on my first fling 2 years ago and loved it.... then i took the Litchfield last year and it's like chalk and cheese between the cars, but i can't fault either of them. They're both good in different ways. Think we'll have to sort out a mini convoy from Aberdeen/Moray to Inverness on the Saturday morning of the fling at some point!

  4. she will also be able to read your last statement you know!!!!!!
  5. I do believe it's a s simple as - if the car left the factory with a cataclysmic converter fitted it must have one for the MOT. My hawk has a full Milltek exhaust with a 100 cell sports cat and thats it. MOT'd yersterday with no emissions issues! If it fails you can take it anywhere you want to have the work done but it has to be back at the testers within 7 days (i think) for it to be a free retest or you have to pay for a second MOT
  6. I'm going to put a link to this thread on her facetube page taff Thats the hawk back from the garage, Serviced and MOT'd for another year. Thank god, couldn't get out of the estate today up the hill in the C4 thanks to sheet ice and snow. The 2 scoobs just cruise up the hill no problems, does mean i'll be able to go into work on Monday though.
  7. And....... still not published. They must be too busy out and about sitting at places they haven't advertised making money. Or am i just being cynical

  18. Thats the old blobeye serviced and straight through the MOT for another year.....

  19. Better road to Edinburgh is the A697 up through Wooler and Coldstream. Great road i've played on a few times when heading down to Northumberland to visit the family at home, a lot better drive than the A1.
  20. Clark's do all the work on both the scoobs we have and soon the C4 as well. They did the whiteline kit on mine, brakes (twice) and all the servicing for the 2 scoobs and sorted out the MOT's for me. That time of year again 1 scoob due in a couple of weeks then the other due in the new year and the C4 is due before chrostmas as well.... great. Members on here (and Aberdeen Scoobies i think) get a discount on the labour charges as well, every little helps.
