  1. Thats dedication to the cause.....
  2. Not here they aren't it's doing nothing but rain, rain and a bit of hail. Doesn't look that bad for the weekend though over the westcoast though.
  3. I still haven't got the brakes fully worn in...... Might be a job for the trip to Inverness on friday. Having said that if the weather doesn't improve i'll be out buying some chain and an anchor! Still need to give it a wash and hoover and check the oil, coolant, etc. Apart from that all set. i think
  4. Thought they might be.... I'll bang them into the for sale section at some point.
  5. Not sure if they'd fit but i've got a set of Godspeed grooved discs sat in the garage off the hawk. Went on the car in January and came off 2 weeks ago to have the Performance Friction kit fitted. Yours for £100 if they're any good!
  6. It's an option i'll try and get it out and check the picture quality out. The new Mk2 version has high def cameras on it and mines a Mk1 so the pic's could be a bit crap. Might just lob it in the car anyway. Needs to be fairly calm with little to no wind or it just goes mental but we'll see. New Cosworth filter fitted. Fluid checks in the next couple of days and we're set! Rear Benen tow hook fitted looks ok to me need to fasion some sort fo bracket for the front one apparently.
  7. Sounds like the good old ColourWax. Not bad on small scratches and stuff. I've had a bottle for years used on the 3 series i had and it's ok on the scoobs as well. Claybars are good i use one before i get the polish out and you can feel the difference when you've used it. The car might look clean but there's loads of contamination on there that should be removed. All the info is here http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/decontaminating-paint.html
  8. Octane booster ready to go, camera/road angel wiring tidied up and hidden this morning. Looked at fitting the Bennen tow hook to the rear but it looks like a pain in the ass - universal must mean theres a car somewhere in the universe it will slot onto. If it wasn't pishing down i might have got the Perrin Wing Stiffies on as well. Hopefully it'll be a bit dryer before we go otherwise they can wait. All it needs is a clean, tyre pressure check and some go juice and we're ready. Oh the wench needs to pack as well..... Cannon battery is cahrged and ready i just need to decide if i'm bringing the A.R Drone to get some aerial shots when we all park up now it shoots pics and film.
  9. Suppose i'd better link to there as well when i do the weekly updates!
  10. Not unless it's heading through Aberdeenshire!

  12. Looking good. I've still got some STI door cards sat in the garage to go into the blob, it already has the seats so it's all it needs to finish it off.

  15. Waiting on the electronic edition coming out for the i-pad should be a good read.
  16. You can't paint the weave........ Leave it as is and watch as you slowly start to buy more and more of it. I still haven't fitted the carbon bits i've got for the Hawk cos i know once one bit goes on it'll get expensive!
  17. Paperwork for the private plate has arrived. 2 days not bad for the DVLA. Should have the new plate on for the fling then!

  20. Think we'll be alright. Can't see anything happening till after the fling if at all. They say they want to sort it out but then they always say that. To be honest as long as we're k for next weekend i couldn't give a stuff...

  23. Octane Booster is sat in the garage ready to go. Mozzie repellant on standby for our fast and furious style beach party!
  24. Yup they were the Official Murtaya dealer for the North of the UK. They used to take a car to the shows up here last time i talked to dave there were some issues with the Murtaya Company - buy out and tooling/mould issues i think. I think they even had plans to run one in the Tarmac Rally's as well.
  25. I've got mozzie repellant left from my holiday in Oz...... Could come in handy if it stops raining long enough for the blighters to take to the air hunting blood!
