New airfreshener i think..... Only had the car 3 months, day 1 was new head unit, blue LED interior bulbs and ZunSport grill and on day 2 it had new tyres all round. Followed by new disks and pads all round (Godspeed grooved discs and fast road pads), an oil change and MOT. I am looking at a full Whiteline set up though, anti-roll bars, drop links and anti-lift kit. I'll have to chse the garage up for a quote..

Yeah i'm resisting fitting the carbon scoop as long as i can. I know once it's on it'll be followed by carbom mirrors, splitter, etc, etc. Been there done all that to my 3 series. I catch the carbon bug very easily. Yeah the Hawk needs a damn good claying the paint is coated in crap. Once i'm back from Australia i think it'll be top of the list... or 2nd after 'get a job'.

Driving the A96 between Aberdeen and Elgin quite frequently i've noticed a few trends... Audi drivers..... pain in the hoop think they're all driving the Le Mans winning car Ford S-Max, Vaux Zafira VXR drivers - usually men who are trapped in shite car of the kids think if they have a go i'll race them and they might win. Well no i won't race you, i'll laugh as you chug by after 5 miles of trying and then watch tyou brake for corners where i just cruise on through. Chav kids in anything from a Corsa/Fiesta/Pug whatever... even had a crappy old Skoda last weekend with racing decals have a go. You've just passed your test and haven't a clue... leave me alone and go and try to impress the girls at Maccy D's... Most of the time i know the car i'm in will wipe the floor with whatever is having a go but i think it's nice to let them go home and tell the family how they managed to out drive a subaru by driving like a god!

Thanks to the unseasonally decent weather i thought i'd better de-salt the 2 scoobies and give the Hawk a polish and seal for the weekly run along the A96 and to make washing it easier. Used the good old Auto Glym Ultra Deep Shine then some of the new Workstat Sealer I got from Polished Bliss. Next time i'll break out the polishing machine as well cos my arms are aching now.... Once the winter is over i noticed it needs a good going over with a claybar cos it's covered in tar and surface crap. Then it'll get a good going over with the polishing machine and the full workstat kit.

Twin Scroll turbo and will pull like a train with almost no lag... Pricey but makes the car more drivable.

Kwik Fit won't do it unless they supply the parts. I've tried them before and that was the answer. They didn't want anyone claiming they'd fitted crap, etc. Made me laugh cos of course they only fit top spec stuff when they do a job. A local independant is your best bet. The price from Hypertech is what i paid last week to get the new Godspeed kit fitted all round on mine while it was in for a servicing.

It's also allowed if your going to cover the other scooby in SIDC flyers!!

Well i'll be deciding if it gets fitted or not tommorrow when i pick the car up from Clarke Motorsport and i get the quote for the work... I've been told those few mods will transform the handling of the car

The Hawk is in for an oil change and MOT, new brakes to be fitted and the DiPol security lock. Asked for a quote for Whiteline antiroll bars, anti lift kit and adjustable top mounts... could get expensive soon!

oh just remembered about the carbon scoop i have in the garage to go on.... Might be a test fit and see if i like it... Could get expensive if i do cos i'll just end up buying more of the lovely weave

New speakers are top of the list, new brakes - already sat in the garage waiting to be fitted along with the DiPol gearbox lock for extra security. Possibly some whiteline goodies as well, anti-lift kit, roll bars, etc.. Already got the machine polisher waiting to be used...

The car seems be getting a slagging off for being a 'chav, barry boy' car over on Scoobynet... No need for some of the comments over on that thread
