  1. It could get expensive for me Al, i can get there in 10 minutes and pass it every week heading through to elgin and back. I even pass it when i need to go to the bank! I will have to resist... I did nearly book a car in for some work but thought sod it i'll buy the gear and do it myself instead
  2. Oops i'll have to change that (done).... Move to Westhill last month. Not any warmer though!
  3. the 'any weather' bit wasn't what i wanted to hear.... I'm trying to convince myself i need a nice warm sunny day!
  4. Haha cheers mate... Looks like i've got some reading to do. Just want to keep the 2 scoobs looking good and shiny! In the long run it makes cleaning them easier as well. Might get out and give it a go tomorrow after the WRX is deposted at Clark Motorsport for it's service and MOT.
  5. Made a quick trip into kintore earlier to book the old WRX in for a service and pre-mot check over. While i was there i paid a quick and expensive visit to Polished Bliss. After a quick chat i now have a nice polishing machine and loads of Workstat bottles, cloth's and buffing wheels. Got some good tips off the guys about cleaning and polishing impreza's with their world infamous ultra thin paint! I'm now trying to convince myself it's far to cold to go out and wash and polish a car today Now to see if i can get a hose plumbed in somewhere and sort out a jetwash....
  6. i was, the fliks in Aberdeen was as far as i managed to get though.... Hopefully next time
  7. Wish i was there instead of at the bloody cinema watching Happy Feet 2..... Bloody kids birthdays!
  8. I checked out his web site and couldn't find any. It was easy enough to get those ines made. If i fancy a change i'll get some in a different colour....
  9. Have a look in Scoobypedia i do belive instructions on how to code the key yourself are in there!
  10. Well i got the ZunSport grill fitted which i think finishes the front of the car off Then i wanted something to identify the car as a Litchfield... Tax disc holder and numberplates were'nt enough for me so i got in touch with Subarubits.co.uk and discussed what i wanted and here's what turned up in the post today. The ScanGuage i've fitted doesn't seem to be talking the new ECU so that can be moved into the blob so the wench can see how she's driving and work out the fuel ecconomy on that car. And just to make sure no-one parks in the scooby zone i've put this up at last - had it ages and never got round to putting it up till today!
  11. Bugger.... looks like i'm doing the Aberdeen-Elgin parental thing thing this weekend. Hopefully next time then!
  12. If i'm not doing the parental trip to Elgin on sunday i might head down from Aberdeen in the Litchfield...
  13. yeah.... what al said. Looke like a Scooby should not a mutant focus/Mazda 3 hybrid!

      scouk

I've got resistors for that ;)

  23. haha yeah i think next years fuel bill might sting a bit more in the litchfield.... but who cares. Smiles per mile is more important than miles per gallon
  24. I was in the 'less progressive' group on the last fling and i got an average for the weekend of 26mpg.... So you don't need to try to get a new record for fuel consumption. At the end of the day you drive as hard as you want to.... We had a progressive group and the less progressive on the saturday then on the sunday we all stuck together. Has to be said it was a great couple of days. It was even better when i got into work to find some guy complaining about being passed like he wasn't moving by about 20 nutters in scoobies! Then he saw the pics on my work computer and my car outside and tried to give me a lecture.... Oh how i laughed in his face, bloody officers and their self important attitude.
