If memory serves me correctly until all outstanding claims are settled - your fault of not it is highlighted on your policy and you are held accountable until settled. It's pish but thats how they do it, guilty until proven innocent by someone else paying up! Once the last issue is settled you might get a more realistic quote!

Hmmm not sure if i should remove mine or not... They've been on the car since i bought it 2 years ago. I've also been pulled a few times by different members of various constabulary's (mainly road side checks and once cos the PNC didn't match up) and the tints have never been mentioned!

Obviously Evo's don't grip as well as scooby's then! Hope the damage ain't too bad

Sounds like a dead battery..... This might be the obvious answer but can you not put the key in the lock on the drivers door and unlock that door to get in. Works on my 2004 blobeye

Voted ages ago. Has to be said i keep checking in to see how it's going and there isn't really alot of votes been cast.. Less than 100 for each of the posts. Considering we're trying to revitalise SIDC and move forward i was expecting more members voting than that. Could be a sign of how people feel about the club the moment though!

nice motor unfortunately i won't be buying a new one till the dudes in charge decide if i fit the criteria for redundancy.... could be another 3-4 months before i even find out if i'm getting it. I'm just planning for next year.

Yeah I do like the 320 had a good look at Hoss's when he came over to Elgin. The Litchfield's are tempting though... Won't be buying for at least another 6 months, there's no harm in looking early to find what you want though.

Wasn't planning on modding it but you never know! If I got a Litchfield I probably wouldn't need to do any modding with 350bhp and most of the regular mods already done on it... One of the Litchfield's I've looked at is a Spec C WR Limited, nice looking car for £14,000.

Ok, at the minute i'm waiting the powers that be to release details of the redundancy package for the RAF but at the minute it looks like i'll fit quite nicely into the qualifying criteria... If i get it i'll have a bit of cash to get a new scooby and upgrade from the WRX. Here's what i've thought of and looked at so far WR1 RB320 JDM STI Litchfield Type 25 Ideally i'd like a blobeye or newer - not a bloody hatch though... Is there anything i've left off the list to review there are so many sprecial editions out there i must have missed something. Cheers all..

Yup, insurance is always a nightmare. I used to be with Admiral but they doubled my insurace quote (£1200) as i had picked up 3points for an SP30. Me saying 'i thought i paid my fine to the local constabulary not admiral' may not have helped. Even this year they sent me an e-mail to get me back, still £400 more than i ended up paying. Since them i've been with M&S - who wouldn't insure me this year as the car is modified. I'm with Sky Insurance (nothing to do with the satellite tv company) at the moment and can't fault them. All mods covered with plenty of scope for more if i feel like it. Wouldn't be too bad if all the quotes were high but they never are!

I'll be up for that if the massed exodus from Kinloss hasn't included me by then. Hopefully i'll stay in Scotland and make it this time.

Knew i'd sort it eventually.... Next time i'll check out what i'm doing instead just having a stab at it...

Haha i knew what it was worth and i knew they didn't have a clue when the dad got down and knocked on the sills..... 'sounds fairly solid to me'!!!!! I think it was after i'd text my neighbour and asked him to call and play along... then did the 'I've got someone here looking at it now' trick and forced their hand, if not i'd have shown them the door. With instructions not to return unless they had the full asking price.

Been there before... I moved to Cyprus for a while thanks to my job and needed to sell my car before i left. it was a Fiat Punto (i know....), eibach suspension, 17'' alloys, M3 mirrors, custom fitted pioneer stereo system, full fiat service history. Plus the original wheels and suspension that came off plus to save me moving it all the polish, wax, tyre dressing, pumps, tools the works. As i needed the car till just before i left it was £500 under the book price in Glasses guide and the car was immaculate.... Had some kid turn up and try to knock £1000 off the price, came back with his dad who tried to haggle again. Once the book price was pointed out to them and all the extra kit they finally (after 2 hours of crap) agreed to the price i had it up for. When he collected the car his friends mondeo estate was full to overflowing with all the extra stuff i basically gave away with it!!!!! Should have charged him more. Some people are just chancers.
