Hope Gus does not mind his Reg Plate being advertised though Stephen! DOH!!

Might be a chance that you had crap in the bottom of your fuel tank. Especially as you said you left it sitting for 2 weeks with hardly any fuel. I would run it for a couple of days and see if its sorted! Dave

Thats cos your a t!t! Who do you think you are, some high and mighty newage man thats better than classics and above them. I think not, you probably have no mates I guess!

Rich comin from you dick dasterly! LOL How many times did I have to stop on the dukes pass and wait for you to catch up??? 3 times I believe. Your just jealous!! -
Paul Sorry to hear this....hopefully its just a passing thought. Its unusual for such a run of bad luck. But hopefully thats the end of it if you keep the car. Perhaps the previous owner did not look after it, and hence why its had so many faults. Anyway, hope you change your mind mate.

My mate earns serious cash offshore in Africa, and was thinking of gettin a testorrosa next year. I am always encouraging as he is away a month at a time, and I usually have to give his car a run! New toy for Dave!! -
Ha ha. Take it the owner has a sense of humour

Ferrari Enzo and Classic Scoob racing Clip

For sure mate! I have seen his supra nearly swap ends just trying to accelerate in the wet. Would not fancy a car like that, you would always be on the edge and could not enjoy it like the Subaru! Luckily I gave my Bro in Law a shot of the Scooby after he had drove the Supra, and he knew right away it had to be the Scooby!! -

True, but the power you can get out of the supra is scary. Have seen one on this site with 1100bhp!! Like to see it keep up on a wet scottish highland road though! lol! My Bro in Laws brother has a twin turbo supra. When he was in my scooby and I took a corner between bonnybridge and the falkirk eye in the wet at 80nph he agreed he would have been in the field if he tried it in the supra! -
Have to admit, I considered a M Series before getting the scooby. My mate has the 3 series M Tech. Great fun, but really scary if you turn the traction control off! Would still have one though!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/987632d...98f2c58cc51.htm Reckon the Enzo is just toying right enough. Check the start when the scooby nearly hits a wall comin off the motorway!

If you look at the plate, it looks like a American car, so its most probably real!!

Got a new tyre today, good price as well from Tom Farmers Company, cant remember the full name. £60 for a top of the range Dunlop, cant remembe the tyre name but they gave me 15 quid off! Must have felt sorry for me when he noticed how red I was! Been off work for Study Leave, and just been swatting in the sun! Anyway, when he took the tyre off the rim half a stanley knife blade was in the tyre wall. So it was some twat with a blade, and defo in Tesco Car Park. Guy reckons I was lucky it was only one tyre. Thinks the tube must have went to do that one first and broke the blade. So I do not know if there is a Scooby Hater in the loose in Falkirk! Maybe just bad luck, or perhaps someone I have gave the finger to before and they remembered the car! I shall be more careful when parking up there now though! Cheers for the comments lads[]

Having spent 90 notes today getting a scratch removed from one of my wings, I have just noticed some git has slashed the side of my nearside tyre. Luckily its not burst, but it certainly aint safe to go above 40. So that means I will have to fork out about 100 notes tomorrow for a new tyre! Reckon it got done in the retail car park in Falkirk, as the car is garaged when I am home. If I had caught the bassa, then I would have rammed the blade up his a$£e!!!!! Scumbags!!!

Paul I would take it a run to Grieves or Hypertech. Sounds like a fuel problem, but for peace of mind, speak to one of them. Might be worth putting a engine flush through it. Dave

Yip...that was the one my brother in law nearly bought! Good to see it back together again mate! A new engine as well....after all the bother, thats a good thing in the long run eh! Heading to Inglston myself, so mabey see you! Dave -
Was going to keep car standard, but cant resist a exhaust! Anyone recommend a full system minus decat or sports cat? Not looking for one that is mega loud though, probably no bigger than a 3.5" tailpipe! Thoughts all?
-
Glad to here that you finally got it fixed, and also great news you did not have to fork out yourself! Happy driving mate!
-
Well spotted Doug . It was my old Escort RS Turbo...which is now in the car park in the sky...RIP!
-
Your right! Just glad I dont pay for entry. Good field this year right enough!
-
Na mate. Takin the train and bus so I can have a good drink with the lads! Did not need passes last year, as I took the motor. Do you mean to normal park, which is in fact a field full of cow s%$t? I have been in the Barclays tent for 5 mins last year before being turffed out! Was pretty smart!
-
Or if you work for Barclays like me you get full passes for the whole event for free. Whoo Hoo! Beer Tent here I come!

Howdy mate There is a mixed response on here on modding the scooby. From my personal experience from my previous turbo charged motor was not good once I started messing about with mods for more BHP. I found to my pockets cost that as soon as I chipped it, put a exhaust and filter on that it put to much strain on both engine and running parts, and things started to brake. I find the scooby fast enough, but if you have the funds to spare then make sure that you get the whole package. Plus I am sure you are feeling the cost with how greedy these things are on fuel! lol! I am sure some of the other members will have advice on what to do, but I would stick with a SS Exhaust and Filter and leave it at that. Dave

Aye but its a shed! lol!

I can recommend a company called Chips Away. Especially around Central belt. Saves a lot of cash from getting whole panels done. Pretty sure they would remove those scratches for much less than total resprays!
