My Bro in law still has not coughed up his cash for a SIDC Membership, but wanted me to ask a couple of questions for him. 1. He is a touch paraniod about the car. Its a newage on a X plate, registered Nov 2000. Thing is, all the records indicate none of these were registered in the UK until March 2001. I am sure its fine, but he is looking for re-assurance! 2. His dash clock is still gubbed. Removed it and everything seems fine, checked the Fuse box in the engine bay, and the clock fuse is cool, changed it anyway to no avail. There is meant to be a second fuse box in the front of the car somewhere. He has checked the manual and cannot find it. Want to locate it, just incase there is a fuse gone there. Can anyone help? Cheers Dave

Are Arnold Clarke not looking for one for you? Or getting a new one??? I would have thought it was their responsability![8-)]
-
Did you have any luck with your search for a engine?
-
I have no problem with the Engerland team and if they won the thing. Its the feckin english media I cant stand! By the way.....we have plasma screens all over the office that play sky news all day...w.as there nothing else going on in the world this week except Mr Rooneys foot???
-
Just shows you what these pro cars with the cages, carbon fibre, and stuff can take. But how did he just walk out. His organs just went from 80-0 in 1 sec!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/f4e1980...e3e85b6e5b7.htm How did this guy survive????
-
Hope its sorted soon then, and you do not end up well out of pocket. Let me know how you get on.
-
Sorry to hear that....looked minted as well, plus a full service history eh. Previous owner must have kicked its ass regularly, engines are usually realiable as! Hope you get it sorted. I would try contacting Duncan at Hypertech in Bonnybridge for a engine. He should know someone. Dave

Thought it was the Yaris, could not believe the move that tube was trying. What do these fannys this they need to prove! I had a corsa do the same on the way back, pulled out on the straight just before fallin while I was overtaking...had to hit the anchors hard! Sure he only went for it cos he seen me comin!
-
Think my bro in law looked at that car...is it a white v plate?
-
Sorry I had to rush off as soon as I got there. My daughter was horse riding and fell off (opps) and ended up in A&E for just over 6 hrs. Got home at 2 in the morning. She's doing fine and no broken bones. A bit sore this morning but moving. Good to meet some new faces although it was very brief. Hope to do it again soon as it was a great turnout. Cheers Boab Did not get the chance to speak to you much...I was a new Falkirk face. Silver Classic in front of you going to stirling! Had a laugh at the wee guy that gave you the finger in Fallin...did you notice? Glad your daughter was okay. Did you nearly prang that yaris just coming out of fallin....noticed him coming right up beside you, thought he was trying to overtake, but I think he took a right! Dave

Good clip In no way condoning it as I would be a hypocrite! However, just to put things in perspective. I know of a copper up north, subaru driver and ex traffic fed, so he was one of the most trained drivers you can get on the road. He was driving on the A82, not far after luss, came round the corner at a fair speed that 4 wheel drive can handle easily. There was a diesel spill on the road, lost control and wrapped it round a tree. He is now parallised from the waist down and needs a machine to breath. Point is that although I may drive llike this on country roads on occations, there is no such thing as safe conditions, road etc to push a car like that. You never know what is round the next corner Reaction time to a slide, corner clip, broken down car on bend or anything would be seconds and most likely extremly hard to get away with. Still we all take chances eh! Keep safe all!
