Mine is sitting at 85000 miles. Saying nothing else incase I tempt fate! As long as its had regular services, particularly oil changes and you have the FSH. It should be fine. Subaru told me anything after a 1999 is reliable as as long as its had regular services. They were prone to knocking and pistons going prior to that if they were not looked after apparently. Suppose its a chance you take. I personnally would only buy a car with that milage from a reputal dealer. And try your best to get a years warranty. Least then you if a piston goes or bottom end it should not be your pocket it comes out off!

[] Only mods I am considering is a SS Exhaust and new wheels. When I started messing around with engine power mods on the old RS Turbo, the engine started to break. I am in the opinion if you plan to add extra BHP then you really need to go the full whack or it just breaks! Ended up with bust piston rings and a total re-build on the the Turbo. But I did thrash it right enough!

Nice one mate, congrats! You will not believe how greedy they are on fuel. I used to budget £100 a month when I had the mondeo, but I put in close to £250-300 now! Worth it though!

I have these on the car just now, and am very impressed! I think they handle very well in both the wet and dry, in fact I do not notice much of a difference. Plus I have done 7000 miles and think I will still get 2000 more, depending of the summer heat! Much more than the yokos ever got! I think for the price you will find it hard to beat! Dave

Paul Its unusual if you cant get it started from a set of leads. Can you hear the starter motor or solonoid turning? Have you had any indication that the battery has been playing up prior? I had a similar problem years ago on my RS Turbo and turned out to be a earth cable that had broke. That was after a new battery, and starter motor! Hope you have or get it sorted soon. Dave

Found the plot terrible. Lost interest on many occations, and found my mind wandering! I watched the first one again first, and there is no competition! Would not pay to see it!

I think the people responsible for these attacks just need an excuse, and probably attack almost anybody. The problem just now is I think the press are raging that the English fans are behaving themselves over in Germany and they have paper space they need filled. All the tabloids seem to be putting there main stories at the moment around english people being beaten by Scottish thugs! I am refusing to buy these papers at the moment as they are labelling all Scots as thugs while this is a complete minority. I think in my experience abroad the locals always said the Scots were the nicest and most hospitipal around. The Egyptians loved all the Scots at the hotel we stayed at recently! Purely paper talk blowing a few disgraceful incidents way out of proportion I think! Oh, and apparently its all Jack McConnells fault for not supporting England! Honestly!
