  1. Cheers Doug. I'm actually surprised it still lets me post with the URL in my sig.
  2. What Prodrive ECU? Have you decided to sort your injectors out yet Grant? As much as it is appreciated guys, i'd sacrifice a negligable difference in finish to save driving 100+ miles. Anywhere between Aberdeen and Elgin is good.
  3. It's not even a proper swear word. I've lost count of the number of times i've tried to post pics on here and been told i can't because my domain is in the swear filter. For example: i've just spent the last five minutes digging out pictures i posted of my engine bay last October for the current thread running. When i try and reply i'm told i can't because the swear filter has gone into overdrive. I'm rapidly losing interest chaps, please get it sorted.
  4. Thanks Jamie, i'd really like to keep it local unless there is no other way though. Mailing wheels isn't a favourite past time of mine and i only have one trip down south planned in the near future. David, i don't want to waste Keiths time if he can't tackle the corrosion. I'm not joking when i say they are really very, very rotten. By the way, i take it i'd have to have the tyres removed before Keith could get working on them?
  5. Ok, i usually ignore these threads because they are posted so often... Therefore i feel i must apologise to anyone who feels i am covering old ground. I admit, i really should know this... Anyway! My original MY98 wheels left their 'best' in a galaxy far, far, far........ far away. They really should have been completely refurbished years ago when i bought the car. Seeing as the time will soon be near to put the blinging Speedlines back on where can i find someone who will do me a grand job of giving my wheels a makeover? The wheels are very corroded (paint flaking off, very yucky ) so it's far from a case of getting Keith P to wave his powder coating wand over them. These need taken right back to the metal!! They need as close to OE look/finish as possible as the car will most likely be sold on these wheels. Any suggestions?
  6. Cool car, someone has obviously put alot of time and effort into it.
  7. You saw S-Club? Did you say hi to Rachel for me?
  8. Flip side is in a couple of years he may have his own Scooby - faster than his Dads. Congratulations to your son btw.
  9. If it's the same as my Defi sender then you will have to lose the OE pressure sender. Just unscrew it, secure it somewhere out of the way and screw in the one supplied with the gauge. There is no room for block adaptors or any other tat as you have found out. This does mean that you will lose the low-pressure warning light in your speedo. This is set at a ridiculously low set point anyway so any potential problems should have been spotted on the gauge beforehand.
  10. Hi Cal, that does look very nice, for a bugly. Seriously, the STi/WR1 wheels really sharpen it up and being dark make it look quite a sinister vessel. Almost expect the grim reaper to be driving. The huge white STi stickers are a bit over-powering though. I'd be inclined to either have them off and leave them or swap them for smaller SUBARU ones.
  11. Hello, i'm in Turriff myself (for my sins ). Only one person i can think of offhand who's in Moray and that's Kenny who stays in Rothes (cool grey STi V5 saloon).
  12. I bought some Megan Racing headers from the States (via eBay) the other day. Dealt with an outfit called EB Stores.
  13. Yup, Russ will do it. Last time i asked porting and polishing of OE headers was £120 + £10 for new bolts if required.
  14. David, mail me please mate. carl@gc8.co.uk
  15. I'd try Glenburgie, who will quote a sensible price.
  16. << "One of these days, SOMEONE will tell me i look like my idol...Simon Cowell!" >> Beat me to it.
  17. Marc, my friend Jamie at Autoparts did it for me a while back. He doesn't work there anymore though. Go ahead Dug.
  18. Had my baby (motorbike letters) front plate for nearly two years now. Covered over 30,000 miles all around Scotland and not a single tug. One or two funny looks, but no tug. Must be that i've balanced it out with my oversized rear one.
  19. Do i own the dirtiest Scottish Scooby?
  20. Ahah! Rob, i very nearly forgot... any chance you could bring that wax along tomorrow night if you still have it lying around? BTTT
  21. I'm signed up for the one on March 12th as i'm getting remapped in the Central Belt anyway. I'd have been totally up for this Russ as i'd still be looking for a (further!!) comparison run on the WP rollers. However, it's the old offshore trick i'm afraid - away from the 15th March to the 29th. Anytime either side (and after the 12th) i'm there.
