  1. I'd imagine it'd just be the gauges as described as i bought Lindsays pod from him. Agreed btw, top bits of kit and a steal for BF's at that price.
  2. Lynched from other thread... I've had five real (driven every day) cars altogether in five years motoring since i was 17. Mercury Grey RST with 1400 CVH engine (crashed by gf at the time) Silver RST Replica (made mostly out of pieces from the above) Cavalier Turbo 4x4 Fiesta Si 1.6 16v MY98 Scoob Also had a few breakers to make some beer money from including XR2, XR3i and XR4x4. I'd have changed the car again at the end of last year had i not decided to buy a house instead. Never the less, once it's built and i'm settled in it shall be time to reconsider the fridges future. Currently swaying towards another, wider , MY98 scooby so i can remove and refit some of the tasty bits on mine.
  3. RB5?? RA?? What's going on Davie!!! Yaris is a cool wee thing though dude.
  4. Only one free one? Just kidding. Nice to hear things are moving along Phil.
  5. Lol, yeah fit one, make it sound like an R5 Turbo... For a millisecond i fancied fitting one to mine, but only for flames!
  6. Really gutted i'm going to miss this... again! Would have loved to have put my car on since the Wax Wizard has brought out the best in the shed. Hope you have a great day guys and be sure to get lots of pictures.
  7. It actually started out as a 1.1 Bonus Grant!! But yeah, i loved RST's when i was younger and tarted mine up to look like one. When i could afford some more insurance i stuck the CVH from an XR2 in there. From memory the only things bar the engine (!!) that weren't as-per RST where the smaller rear brake drums, lack of a sunroof and colour. It even had the full Recaro interior pmsl... 8. Lol, i'm glad to hear it's out of 'storage'. I look forward to the email.
  9. Snap! Alas, my first car... Same 'quality' 90bhp 1600CVH but sadly no cameras. Sold mine for £950 though. God how i cringe when i look at that thing these days lol...
  10. Some pics Jools took of the family fleet, both treated by Mark yesterday.
  11. Well, Mark has been working his way through four Scoobies and a Mercedes up in Aberdeenshire today. I'm always sad enough to take pictures before and after so here's the ones of the engine bay. The light was fading by the time i left Jools so no after pics of the exterior. Time for some powder coating to compliment the soon-to-arrive Samcos i reckon!
  12. Magic Russell, i left your manifold where you told me to earlier on today. DON'T FORGET ABOUT IT !!
  13. I usually make the trip to Forres and get the rubber-stamp services done @ Glenburgie. I'm going to start getting interim oil changes done also however and will probs be using Russ @ BHP Developments in Aberdeen for this - or doing it myself.
  14. You know i am. Enough for two services please David, so 2x 4/5/6 litres - whatever it comes in! I really need it for when i get back on the 19th Oct though so can't afford to hang around.
  15. Marc, i need to have mine serviced soon and i want to use decent oil in it before i go for the magic three zero zero. I'm just wondering where you can buy it locally?
  16. No Lee's that i can think of Derek... Phil, Lol, Neil, Brian, Grant and myself are the number crunchers across the three shifts i see. Aye, the Taffs are great fun - 1 year on since day one and my Welsh accent is coming along nicely. Most of them came up from Baglan (sp) via one route or another over the course of the past 12 years. Weekly quiz is near a thing of the past these days, although i did win the bingo the last time they did it.
  17. Hehe, i'm the well spoken one that calls from Miller. Won't be calling again until the 6th Oct though.
  18. Hey Derek, it isn't you i call every evening to say how much water (and occasionally oil) we've stuck down the pipe is it? Probably just as well i'm onshore at the moment as by the sounds of it i my skinny frame may have been blown off the platform by now...
  19. Hey Mark, sorry i missed your car. I did want to try and get all the Scoobys on the rollers but i missed Shauns because i was nattering and then after i missed John Stewarts later on i kinda gave up. Don't think i got any of Keiths or Erics either. I'm sure the picture of all your cars together in the P&J will make up for it though.
  20. Some of todays runners. Scooby Central. Most powerful Impreza of the day, the BHP Developments/Wallace Performance tuned P1 owned by oor Kev. Least ground clearance of the day award goes to young Grumbler! The fridge! 256bhp on the second run, 259bhp on the first. More than happy with that, all set to topple the 300 barrier now...! More Pictures Here I'd just like to say a big thanks to Gavin, Russ, Neil and Jools for making the day such a success. I was very impressed with Gavins setup and the rollers seem to be calibrated spot-on, something proved by the likes of Mikes near standard ATR and Catherines standard Celica knocking out factory figures. I couldn't believe how smoothly the day went also, bar Jools wee problem it was almost regimental the way the cars were wheeled on, run up and then wheeled off without a hiccup. Well done to all. If all goes to plan my car should have all the treats fitted and be mapped by the end of October - so naturally i'll be looking for a re-run come the beginning of November, as i'm sure Davie will too.
  21. Chris, if this had come up a few weeks earlier i'd have had your arm for it. Mark, you know this won't fit your car don't you? This will be the 3 plug unit whereas your car has the 4 plug ECU.
  22. What i spent the day running around like a trainspotter for. Pictures coming soon...
  23. Cool! You'll have to show me around thee Cally Russ. Still got a big soft spot for the ol' C20LETs and i've heard your isn't a bad example. If you're taking it up to Aberdeen of course? I'm pretty sure Callum will run once he's seen the other cars go on but he's pulling every excuse out of the hat at the moment lol...
  24. Russs, is this the same C20LET Russ whose manual i 'stole' some scans from? Callum is adamant he isn't running his Evo on Sunday so probs best to scrub him from the list for the time being. Just away to call Andrew to double check his situation.
  25. I would have thought internal 'proper' sticking would have been the way to go.
