  1. 100% bargain here. For everyone who isn't aware this BB retails at £317.
  2. Bargain. I have these on mine and they're grrrreat. What's also worth bearing in mind is buying these new results in a 2-3 week wait for them.
  3. Lambda is in the downpipe pre-01. Don't worry about it, they're a piece of cake to get out with a 22mm spanner.
  4. I went to school with the chap who makes the Powerflow exhausts for Turriff Tyres. He used to have a Scooby so will know what to do to make the Mini sound as close as possible to one. They do make them while you wait but best to nip up to Celebrations for a cuppa because you'll be freezing watching. You sound like you're close to me Martin?
  5. Leave for Laaaandan that AM so no show from me either this month.
  6. Chris, completely wasted mate. I'd be far more adept at writing the names on them after.
  7. It's a pun. Anagram would be "kerb rank bath", but not quite so amusing... As far as brake upgrades go i got some reconditioned 4-pots for £180, new Tarox discs for £90, some Mintex 1155 pads for £55 and some braided hoses for £30. Fitted by myself for £0. Total cost £335. A favour was called in for the discs and i got lucky with the calipers. But they're still going strong nearly a year later.
  8. How's about you feckers come up to the Dastek rollers up here for a change instead of me driving down south? Star or either of the Dastek RR's are fine for me. Jim (in my opinion) is not a tosser. Make it July and i'll have had a chance to (potentially) make a few more tweaks. Otherwise i'm far to busy to do anything with the car and make it worthwhile running.
  9. The A90 is the most boring road on the planet as far as i'm concerned. I avoid it at all costs... Unless you went a different way?
  10. You're in Aberdeen aren't you Steve? There's plenty of places up here that'll see you right without trekking down to Perth.
  11. I don't think i've seen a white newage WRX until now. I have to say i rather like that, please please please keeps the mods tasteful. A set of the anthracite STi wheels (as originally fitted to the WR1 - not the PFF7's) would really set that off.
  12. Sounds like a typical small-minded article from the small-minded capital of the UK. I could very easily slip into the stereotype of the 'average' Scooby driver, being as i'm quite young. I do my best not to though, i just remember i've been driving mine for 2.5 years now without a Lexus lamp, flamer kit or dump valve in sight. My mother drives a BMW and she about as far removed from arrogant as possible. Dad drives a Lotus however, did they say anything about mid-life crises? Carl CHAV IDOL
  13. Poor Scooby driver? More like poor Volvo driver. It's exactly that kind of irresponsible driving which will continue to make mine and your own insurance premiums rise. Not to mention the whole giving the Subaru marque a bad image thing.....
  14. I need to know, how you came to the conclusion that 14psi is the equivelent of atmospheric pressure x2... Atmospheric pressure = 1 bar 1 bar boost = 1barg (gauge) or 2bara (absolute) I do agree with Grant that the technical knowledge in here is a little 'bloke down the pub' - as proven above. I'd recommend eductating yourself before making your own judgments based on facts divulged on the various websites, here, SNet, 22B etc. My thoughts on dump valves are pretty well documented on here, i see you have a flamer kit fitted already though so will leave you to screw up your cars fuelling on your own.
  15. Unless someone has nicked my car it wasn't me as i'm sat on an oil rig right now. I do have STi rears though and stuck a red bulb in one of the reverse lights (wired as a fog) to get around the MOT. It's pretty useless as a fog light but for all the driving my car does.... Lights came from Glenburgie Subaru but they're as rare as hens teeth. I got lucky when i asked.
  16. My old setup before i went to BF's.
  17. Ach, not far off considering i guessed it all from the number plate... IIRC that's the same one that very nearly went walkabout on a local P1?
  18. That's a Town & County plate. They've had it for a while now, would assume the car is on hire from them to Grampian Police.
  19. A stones throw......over the runway. There's a bus that leaves regularly to cart folks round to Scotia/Bristows/Broomfield House, you won't be stuck. Just head out to reception around an hour before your check-in and jump on the one waiting there, ask the driver if you aren't sure. Bond is walking distance.
  20. We neeeeeeeed Kev's 'Spin' vid too.
  21. Aye, if you're staying at the Scooby Doo (Skean Dhu) the night before flying you can leave your car there. Probably the same with the Speedbird etc. Guessing it's Broomfield house via Shetland for the Murchison?
  22. What're you suggesting Cal? Scottish Scoobes has outgrown the SIDC? Personally i'm quite happy here but i'd gladly help out on the IT side of things if required. Things do move very quickly in this forum but i do like having everything under the one umbrella if you see what i mean?
  23. Preparing excuses for me whooping you already i see. Not fitted the SX yet? It'll only take 5 mins? Take the car, the weather is supposed to break tomorrow so get the best of it.
  24. Provided i don't drive through a mud bath on the way there i will have a clean(ish) Scooby. David, say Inverurie Town Hall @ 7?
