Hey folks Nice to see this place is still about, been a while since I've read or wrote on this place. Anyway Im looking for some info or advice please I had a warning light come on my Impreza 2002 WRX with a few light mods, nothing serious. Mainly Turbo back exhaust changes. Anyway I took it down to Chris Alan at East Linton Services who plugged it in to his handheld to reveal it was the Knock sensor playing up. Anyway that was last week and we discussed it and choose to simply reset it and see how it goes. But today this morning it came back on and shortly after I think the car when in to Limp mode as the power was mostly gone in the higher RPMs and I didnt want to push it. It was a little unsmooth as well applying what power was left as well. Anyway my question is about weather this sensor going would cause this effect, because if thats a no I worried I'm in for a large or expensive issue. Regards Pete one worried owner

Evo for me, I stand by the my view that the new scooby looks crap. Its going soft in its old age, when I saw the WRX at the highland show I walked past it and straight to the Mitsa stand for the Evo. Shame really, I still love my bugeye. Heres hoping Toyota buy them up and make a better Impreza in future

There was no fuel shortage until people were stupid and went nutz to get fuel. As stated Grangemouth do about 10% of the total fuel in the UK and the country at any time has 60-65 days of stock if all refineries stopped working. So others could have made up for the short fall. So its our own damn fault if we run out of petrol cause the public went on a panic spree. We are our own worst enemy here, also I support the strike. I hope you get your Pensions sorted folks.

Where it be public or not I wouldn't want myself photographed unless I give permission. Maybe it should be illegal to photograph people unless they agree no matter where they are, I wouldnt give permission to all those flippin CCTV cameras let alone your mate.

ok the liquid gurge noise is coming from the passenger dash area or that area of the engine bay against the passenger dash area if that makes sense....

This has been doing this for months on and off, would a head gasket not go fast? Also it got its MOT in Feb and Chris Alan at east linton who did the MOT said nothing about any issues. Mind you would a MOT person or Chris notice that when doing a MOT?

Well I noticed this on and off for some time, but nearly all the time after I have started the car in the morning I get a gurgling liquid noise from the what would be dash/engine bay area when reving the car. Its not always there at times and generally never after the car has been running for a while. Can any tell me what it is? I'm a bit worried it could be bad :S Air Con? Cheers Pete

Well it seems to have gone down for now, but give it a while and Salmond will have cut the police force in edinburgh and they will stop patroling the area as much and I will have another bonnet dent in another car of mine Also I hate Saughton house its a flippin dump! mind you the only worse place is your place. I was in dynamic earth the other week and looked at it and just about cried at the sight of the monster. I used to defend it to people, now I hate it Also the Canteen SUCKS as usual, thats why I buy food and make it at my desk bit less in cost and I can eat better than the cack Sodexo make. How they can call it food at times... Well it begs belief.
