  1. Smashing Gus.... get sum pics posted up so we can see what it looks like
  2. Here's mine..... pic was taken overlooking the forth, from the fife side.
  3. Jamie (H1 SOOB) done my headlights and he didnt need to put them in the oven - there's 8 or 9 wee screws that hold the lense on, then he poured hot water on them from a kettle to soften the putty stuff. No more mods for me dave, at least not this side of xmas. I'd recommend the strut brace - i dont drive mine hard and even so i still noticed a difference. How about a WRC-style front grille? Revolution do a nice one. Apart from that your car is stunning from the outside. I haven't seen many that colour but if i was going for an STi @ any point, it would be the same colour as yours P.S. Revolution also sell the SilvaTech bulbs for the indicators - think they are £15 a pair though. W21W's if i recall correctly.
  4. Hey Doug.... i'm still new to the scooby "scene" Still "wet behind the ears".
  5. I, like Claire n Wullie, got 30% all round on mine, and got pulled the same night as them. Fortunately the new-age cars must have slightly less of a factory tint as I wasn't told to remove them - just "advised" that they were illegal. This was at a the Falkirk cruise meet where there was always going to be plenty of police presence, i am not going to remove mine - i'll just be careful about where i take the car now!! Magma in Bathgate done mine - think they charged £50 per window. Excellent job. Edited to say: This is the 3rd time i've put tints on a car but only ever been pulled that one time. Liked the look on previous cars that much that the scooby went in to get done two days after picking it up from the dealers!! It was my 1st mod
  6. Looks even nicer on your car than it does on mine What's next then?
  7. didn't spot that ally, back to the newsagents tomorrow lunchtime for another sly look
  8. Yup....just wish i could get them up to me easily & i'd maybe take them off the guy. £350 sounds a bargain indeed!!
  9. Not that i could see stephen, but i was reading it in the newsagents and the bloke behing the counter had a "this isn't a bloody library" look on his face so i didnt look in great detail.
  10. Pic of Spooks & Ally (2559B) on the 1st page of Fast & Modified's 3-page feature on the recent open day up at AWD. No pics of any of the cars that were parked round the side though
  11. Na, the wheels on the Evo are similar to mine but they aren't Force 10's. Nice wheels though, nice car too
  12. Here u go..... if anyone wants me to edit this post to remove the pic with your reg on let me know - but they are not my pics, i've just done the code so p1ggm's pics appear on this thread!!
  13. Pioneer 13cm TS-E1376 speakers in my back doors + Pioneer 17cm TS-E176C (inc. tweeters) in my front doors. As far as i know, direct replacements for the OE stuff. Fitted by MRD in bathgate. Highly recommend them
  14. Yup, got it already.... i think it was featured on Steve Wright's website of the day. I'm also of the same opinion as stephen.... wish more of scotland was mapped in detail, but still a handy wee program
  15. Best of luck in the new job Jamie
  16. Sorry to hear this niall...... hopefully you'll be damage-free once this one gets sorted. Bad luck can't go on forever!! Hope u get something useful from the CCTV footage too. The Mrs car got hit in Tesco carpark earlier this year when she was in doing the shopping & the police couldn't be bothered going to the store to look @ the tapes. Lazy gits!!
  17. Voted..... any excuse to give the motor another layer of meguiars
  18. Gus - apologies for the delay - totally forgot. I paid £130.95 for both the front bits + the bolts & captive nuts, and that also included about £6 delivery to get it on one of those special guaranteed next-day deliveries. Then spent another 50 quid getting them painted, but you won't have that expense of course
  19. There's also one in Whitburn, but the pumps are as slow as a week in the jail and they ALWAYS have just one person serving despite the queue.. Plus the person that's serving is obviously on her first ever shift working in a petrol station Not that i'm an impatient git or anything, of course.
  20. Go for it..... get the wheels bunged on a credit card NOW!!!!
  21. Pete... try these folks www.cityautosalvage.co.uk - i got a couple of bits of interior trim off them, they posted them up and got them a couple of days later
  22. Well done Mr Hynds!!! I shuder to think how much i've spent but you'll be catching up soon as i'm now officially skint!
