That got traded-in for.. 3rd car was a E-reg black 1-litre Fiat Panda. Someone ran into the back of me on the City Bypass. 4th car was a G-reg 1.0 Citroen AX. I ran into the back of someone @ the Roadhouse roundabout, Whitburn 5th car was a brand-new (L-reg @ the time) 1-litre Fiat Cincquecento. As far as i can remember, this was never in an accident. It had limo-tinted windows, lowered suspension & 15" alloys. 6th car was an L-reg white Vauxhall Cavalier 1.7 Turbo-Diesel. This was also lowered with 16" alloys. 7th car was an R-reg 1.8 Petrol metallic-silver Audi A4. Lowered, Alloys, tinted windows etc 8th car was a 51-plate 2-litre Diesel Apple-green Peugeot 307. 2. My favourite is my wee nifty roof-spoiler from Revolution.
  3. Yup - you have to do it now you know how good it looks.
  4. There's a thread over on general right at the top scott. I think there is also something in the members section
  5. Gary @ Keith Michaels beat my renewal premium by over 400 quid. Top man, top company.
  6. Another vote for leaving as it is. Looking nicer every time i see that motor. I am SO jealous.
  7. As already mentioned, I am not yet sure I will be able to make this. But if i can, i will be joining whatever group that will be driving like they have a brake caliper stuck on - i.e. the slow group.
  8. There's also a thread over on General - Link to General Might put my name down for a set of these shortly
  9. Braw Have you noticed any difference up or down on performance? I've noticed no change since i fitted one.
  10. link doesnt work ian - you have got "http://" twice in the URL
  11. I bought mine from a dealer approx. 8 months ago for a good 2.5K more than your asking for yours. So i'd say yes, your asking price is very good. Good luck with the sale
  12. Very nice Russ. U use Silvatec bulbs? Did you change the rear bulbs too? Jamie done mine a few months ago, and replaced the rear bulbs too - made the back end look that little bit nicer too!! Whats next on the mods list then
  13. Stephen I fitted mine without touching the battery terminals. Instructions didnt even mention the battery. It's a Bailey DV i've got.
  14. Very nice clean car u got there. Is that how much an 03-plate WRX can expect to fetch then?
  15. i was fairly sure i knew the previous owner when you referred to it as saltire blue, and trouble with the gearbox. I have only seen your new brief once (at awd) but it kinda sticks in the mind. Shall you shed a tear or two as the red one drives off into the sunset (or to be more accurate, drives off into the pishin rain) ?
  16. is the 2002 a bugeye or a blobeye? wagon or 4-door?
  17. << Hey, thats s great idea.!! I will have a turbo, come hell or high water!!!! p.s. i did have a pug 306 trbo diesel sport, but i blew the engine......lol >> Did the engine have a smoke afterwards?
  18. That clue was about as much use to me as chebs on a trout TBH. All the best with the new motor anyway, whatever it is
  19. What u getting grant?
  20. Ed - if you want Scott's one & get it painted then fire in - i'm not that fussed. Slightly skint @ the moment anyway
  21. Might have been interested in the scoop too, but Al has got in there before me. Gawn yersell Al
  22. << Thats exactly why I've not done the track day thing. >> Snap. Thats horrible though. I hope he took out track-day insurance. At least the driver was ok. I once witnessed a mint Escort RS Turbo go over on it's lid over Duffus. To make matters worse the back window went in mid-roll and the roof acted as a scoop for a huge muddy puddle. Driver got out fine, but he was plastered head-to-toe in muck. Poor lad, we felt awfy sorry for him.
  23. Awww..... thats no fair. Surely if you beg/plead/offer to do the washing up for a month etc she'll let u have your birthday present a bit early? Just got TOCA racedriver thingy for mine, quite a good game. I find that the music thru the headphones isnt loud enough - even on full volume. Anyone got any tips? Perhaps i'm just getting auld & deef.
  24. Now here's a strange one...... I done a search on the net for the snooty fox, and the search engine threw up yell.com (yello pages online). But the search was for "gay dvds"!!! WTF!!! Try it yourself - go to yell.com, and type in "gay dvds" in the Search for: box. Then put Glenrothes in the Located in: box. Snooty fox is one of the entries it finds!!
