SIDC returns to Knockhill on 13th of June 2020 as part of their regular weekend track events at the iconic Scottish race track. This event will run from 9am to 1pm. The event will run on an open pit lane format, meaning you can join the track at any time you wish for as long as you wish. SIDC enforce a strict driving etiquette on track, to ensure that it is a safe and enjoyable place to drive your pride and joy at all times. Aggressive and inconsiderate driving will not be tolerated. Driver attitude and behaviour on track is much more important than the make and model of car you drive. Also included is free instruction from a resident Knockhill instructor, who will go out as a passenger (or driver if you prefer) and give you expert guidance on improving your driving around the track. Both first timers and regular track drivers can benefit tremendously from expert instruction. The event is open to drivers of all makes and models of car, but note that the vast majority of cars on track are very well maintained and driven high performance models. There is no charge for additional drivers, and passengers (front seat only). The event is open to both SIDC members and non-members. Please supply full details of your car when booking (make/model/registration number & colour). Drivers should arrive at the circuit no later than 8:15am for registration and mandatory drivers briefing. A full information pack will be emailed to all drivers 2 or 3 days before the event. Please ensure you have read and understood the Track Day cancellation policy

  5. Was this his first or second incarnation of the WRXSTI ? He's currently reverting the engine bay plumbing back to standard on his current car, as he's keeping it (as of yesterday)
  6. https://www.keithmichaels.co.uk/contact-us/ Contact Gary Moulson (and nobody else) from list on above web page. Can be difficult to get hold of at times but depending upon your age can usually give you the best quote.
  7. Yep the fuel filter is situated inside the fuel tank alongside the fuel pump (moved in 2001 from engine bay to fuel tank) Access via removing the backseat base. A complete workshop manual is available for down load here Legacy/Outback workshop manual 2002 pdf

  9. With an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) on the rear wing you won't achieve your goal ? Greetings, and welcome to the Forum. I think you meant GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). Basically the WRXSTI Spec D came with the low level WRX spoiler to keep it discreet and you want to change that for a high level spoiler of some description ?? Original OEM fit Some have fitted the Prodrive wing (uses same mounting holes I believe) Some have gone for the OEM high wing What are you looking for??
  10. With break resistant windows that break
  11. For the earlier model Interior Package you had a choice of bright ? or subtle ? seats were all electric.
  12. Your forester only got the PPP and required wheel upgrade. The WR Sport as per the posted document includes Similar upgrades were available for earlier models... but not under the WR Sport banner My MY97 turbo 2000, over the first 2v years of its life, visited Prodrive for the Interior Package install and had the Driving Enhancement Package and Exterior Package installed at the Dealers although the rear spoiler was originally of a lesser upgrade than what it eventually finished up with as shown here.
  13. As you rightly say the WR Sport "Branded" Package as a whole was made available for MY99/00 cars from new. The individual "packages" were available separately and most were available prior to this.
  14. The wheels fitted are part of/requirement of the Prodrive upgrade for the SF forester and come with 215/50/R17 tyres Subaru speedos usually reads about 10% fast
  15. He's a youngster compared to some of us ?

  17. East Kent subaru spares seem to be breaking an early white forester STI at the moment - but no mirrors listed https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/east-kent-subaru-spares?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
  18. Most plugs can be de-pinned, you just need to find out how it's achieved. Here is another example taked from the Subaru Harness repair kit information
  19. RH motor assembly with heat 91029SA021 LH motor assembly with heat 91029SA031 I think the only difference between non heated motors is the additional wiring required Looks as if they were fitted to the early Cross sport as well.
  20. You have to de-pin the plug notice plug removed in my photo From Litchfield's fitting instructions (carefully making a note of where each wire goes)
