  1. Subaru upgraded the car's spec and Prodrive provided the power increase.(remap plus exhaust parts) (330PS equates to 325.5bhp, 470Nm equates to 347lbft )
  2. In theory. An information page as AF no longer supplies turbos http://www.afpsubaru.co.uk/turbos.htm
  3. https://www.enginebasics.com/Advanced Engine Tuning/Turbo Chart Mitsubishi.html The compressor inducer is approx the inlet internal diameter of the housing. If you are replacing it because it's smoking, why not get it rebuilt?? (even possible with MHI turbos to do it yourself if so inclined). https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TD05-TD05H-TD06-Turbo-rebuild-repair-kit-16G-18G-20G-4G63-DSM-super-back-NEW/254229559031?hash=item3b314336f7:g:FVEAAOSwLYhc2NaD https://www.turborebuild.co.uk/ https://www.theturbounit.co.uk/services/

  5. The higher the number the bigger the compressor wheel so the laggier it will become unless other supporting mods/upgrades are done to utilise the possible extra power available
  6. If you are looking for serious options, probably the best place to start is here https://www.subaruforester.org/forums/wheels-and-tires.72/
  7. There are a number of threads on Scoobynet regarding WR Sport packages and complete cars. For example https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/657802-prodrive-wr-sport-question.html Mike Woods used to be the main contact between Subaru UK and Prodrive but when Subaru Japan parted company with Prodrive and the WRC, he left to join Jaguar/Tata Motors, along with a other members of the Subaru UK Management.
  8. The WR Sport packages were put together by Prodrive so basically for the UK, but Prodrive also has other markets especially for wheels.
  9. You would need to check the existing clearances. The inner face of the tyre would be about 10mm near the strut and the outer face would be nearly 30mm further out probably requiring arch extensions/lip rolling. Also what 2005 STI are you talking about?? a 2005 impreza STI (wide track) will be 5x114 PCD not 5x100 as required.
  10. See your "other" thread. The complete car package only applied to MY99/00 models which as shown from the dealer brochure items in posts above didn't have the "red arista" interior option.
  11. Wheel options seem to be the same with OEM being a 48 offset rather than the impreza 55. Using Scoobynets Tyre rim calculator, the OEM 17" wheel/tyre info and your proposed wheel and it's minimum width tyre size from chart below
  12. The interior came in the Red or Black "Arista" options and was part of the early (MY97/98) WRSport options which were AFAIK "Dealer/visit to Prodrive" fit, so no idea on numbers. For my own original MY97 I had the black Recaro interior option fitted by Prodrive (took to and collected from Banbury myself) plus the "Driving Enhancement" Kit, and the "Exterior Package" both Dealer fit, (plus an upgrade to an imported v5 rear spoiler) The WRSport "complete car package" didn't arrive until MY99/00 cars https://impreza.co/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Prodrive-WR-Sport-PPP-Dealer-Brochure.pdf
  13. Using Standox Color system, Subaru 817 Green looks to be a reasonable match as well or Subaru 17
  14. Looking on a "RAL K7 Colour Chart Fan Deck" either RAL6037 (Pure Green) ; RAL6032 (Signal green) ot RAL6024 (Traffic green) are reasonable matches but don't always believe what you see on the web ?
  15. Link below will give you the part number (as they are now universal fit - Left and Right), but when this stuff will be available who knows https://parts.subaru.com/p/subaru__/Brake-Dust-Shield-Right--Front/49235082/26290FE050.html
  16. Changing to a cone filter would require installing a cold air intake of some sort which would require mapping to be effective. As the hatch already has a cold air ram feed to the air box you'd be better off just fitting a K&N panel filter in the existing air box.
  17. Coffee house, restaurant, art gallery and general hangout – C&M exists as a meeting place for anyone who has a fondness for machines. It doesn’t matter what, either: classic restoration, bike, rat rod or someone riding a jet-powered food blender, we welcome everyone. The only rule is that you come with an open mind, and be prepared to get involved. Discussion here Gallery here
  18. COVID-19 Update: 2020 Events Update Discussion thread and ticket info here
  19. As it's a N/A you may need to clean the idle air control valve. Vid below is for a N/A legacy but exactly the same https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzNiEajOrSA
  20. POSTPONED - https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/news/covid-19-update-11-may-2020 Members discussion and Club ticket purchase info Here.. Jimmy McRae will drive the Subaru Impreza 555 used by his son Colin in 1996 as part of Prodrive’s extended display at Rallyday in June. The car is one of the most historic Subarus around – N1 WRC – is the car McRae used for his final victory in an Impreza 555 on the Catalunya Rally in 1996. From 1997, Subaru and the World Rally Championship switched its attentions to the World Rally Cars. Five-time British Rally Champion Jimmy is a Rallyday regular, but this summer’s event will be even more special with a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Colin’s 1995 World Rally Championship planned. British firm Prodrive has prepared some of the world’s finest rally cars, winning multiple world championships along the way. For the first time, the Banbury-based firm partners Rallyday with an extraordinary display of machinery from throughout its history in the sport. Prodrive chairman David Richards said: “It is great to see how Rallyday has remained true to its roots and, over the last two decades, grown to become the biggest annual celebration of rallying in this country. “We’re bringing some of our most iconic rally cars from the last 35 years and I am sure they will be in very good company.” The cars coming to Castle Combe on June 20 are: - 1984 Porsche 911 SC RS – Saeed Al-Hajri’s Middle East Rally Championship car - 1986 MG Metro 6R4 – driven by Jimmy McRae in the 1986 British Open Championship - 1996 Subaru Impreza 555 – driven by Colin McRae in 1996 - 2000 Subaru Impreza WRC99 – driven to victory on the Safari Rally by Richard Burns - 2011 Mini John Cooper Works – driven by Dani Sordo on the 2011 Rally GB - The identity of the sixth car is being kept under wraps by Prodrive – but the promise is of something very special for Rallyday fans from around the world.
