Moved to Events thread will full details of event please visit this thread..... Paul Hi All Been thinking about our plans for Santa Cruise this year with regard to fundraising. I have been in touch with Duncan at Hypertech in Bonnybridge who has always been a firm supporter of our club and a supporter of Santa Cruise. He has very kindly offered his spanky new shiny rolling road facility for our use to raise money for the fund this year. The event would be held on a chosen Sunday as his work schedule demands...and we could accomodate up to 25 cars. The machine has the ability to measure not only BHP, but also the BOOST levels and the AFR readings. Each slot taken up will have the benefit of all this information provided. I still have to negoitate the rates with Duncan but suffice to say they will be comparable with other rolling road facilities, and you can be safe in the knowledge that a considerable chunk of the fee is being given back to the Santa Cruise fund....which is very kind of Duncan. So there we are....all the other sessions have been succesful...lets make this one a success to and get some money into the club pot.... So lets start by gauging the interest in the event.... I for one am first up.... 1) PaulC555

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.... I met Colin several times in the early years during his campaign with the Legacy...and his many visits to Ireland....and like so many others it was him who kindled my passion for the Subaru brand..... A great loss to the world of rallying, not many had the skill, guts and determination to drive the pants of anything that was put in front of them... Its been a sad few years for British/Irish rallying as a whole with the loss of Richard Burns, the great Bertie Fisher and now our hero Colin... Rest in Peace Colin..... Paul, Joneen & Erin....

very sad news....another great loss to the rallying world.... our thoughts are with his family and friends.... but i guess we were all his friends in some way... very sad... Paul

thanks guys... its certainly not an ADSL Max line......even though I have a wireless router the main computer is right beside it and 99.9% of the time has no other computers connected to it...so I am presuming then its just a mixture of high usage and my distance from the exchange then.....looks like I can just carry on sloooooooowwwwwwwwwlllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy..... will take that speed test dougster and let you know the results... cheers Paul
