Hi folks Trying with not much luck to source a set of 18" rims for the new car.....every shop on the planet seems to be out of Inovit rims....such as the Redline (PFF7 replica) or the Tarmac rims...been to Skidz and DP in Ayr...are they any other alloy specialist I could be trying in Scotland....or shoud I just resign myself to not getting rims for 5-6 weeks..... thanks Paul

thanks guys.... Gus...I dont want it lowered...im trying to keep the gap the same...was concerned it would sit higher.....but thats great if it remains the same......standard is how i like it just for now..... see you all soon.... Fraz and me will bring you a sticker from the circuit of ireland mate....[] -
Going to be ordering the new rims for the car within the next fortnight....as the car is standard WRX with PPP....it still sits on standard springs and shocks.....am I correct in thinking that if I change to 18" from 17" as long as the profile drops the overall radius of the wheels and tyres remains the same...therefore the gap between the body of the car and wheels will not change...wouldnt like to think that the swap to 18" would make the car sit even further up of the wheels...the gaps just fine as it is....so am I right??? cheers Paul
-
Ah thats good Stevie.......was a bit suprised to be honest as when I traded it I thought it was heading of to another life down south.....but glad its ended up staying local and will be looked after....hope he enjoys counting up the mountain of receipts to see how much was spent on it...!!!...................... look forward to seeing it at the next meet... take care mate Paul
-
aye...and the driver was even better looking....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he enjoys.......it was much cherished and I hope he will do the same....I promised the previous owner the car would always be looked after...he was a decent guy who most of you knew and is sadly no longer with us.... would be good to see it at the next central meet.....get him to come along...you will both be welcome.... cheers Paul
