they seem to be bolted with a standard M10ish size bolt, through the slots in the prodrive mounts and straight into the seat itself....although not all bolts are fitted yet....and Im cacking myself at the though of drilling into the seat.... never thought of a quick release bolt.....mmmmmm Paul

George.... thanks for that...sorry I wasnt intending to mount the harnesses to the seat mounts...I had a seperate issue on the seats which I detail below... I note that harnesses usually attach to the rear lower crossbar on the cage...however this cage doesnt have that bar....I've mounted the eyelets from the harnesses into the original seat belt mount points on the floor pan I presume this is okay.....just wanted to check if anyone knew if once through the top slots in the seat the harness had to run straight back or could it go to mounts on the floor? secondly I have a dilemma in that both my wife and I would like to use the car....the seats are mounted on prodrive mounts...these mounts being fixed to cross bars weleded to the car......I need to work out some method of moving the seat easily back and forward...not worried about up and down.....any ideas on moveable runners?... Evening all Similar to Georges thread below...I finally got picking up my track car today...(Jamie Hisoob)partially completed sti RA....... Is anyone local who I could talk to or could call up to my tent...and could advise me on some issues regarding harness fitments, options for seat mounting etc...ideally need a look inside an impreza rally car... most of you have seen the spec of the car, but I will add a new project thread when I have time with some new pictures etc.....in the meantime...heres one or two to wet your appetite....

I'll even give you my spot...dont think I will be ready in time... Paul

You could stick your name down for the Santa Cruise Rolling road...at Hypertech..... only an extra 40 miles from perth...but a good day out for all attending... Paul

I will check for you mate....the "other cars" may have to run towards the end as quite a bit of adjustment is required to fit the various wheelbases....we have 2 other types of car going so dont see a problem, just to confirm the list of different cars with Duncan and let you know... but stick a slot down for him....and we will move onto a reserve list after number 25... thanks Paul

Based on the previous pricing for rolling road days, it should be around the £35 - £40 per vehicle. I have already agreed an amount with Duncan to cover his runing costs for the day etc...so we are still making a nice little amount for the Santa Cruise fund once Hypertech's fees come out of this amount. thanks Paul

Okay Folks Date now confirmed...... We had the choice of a few Sundays in November. The Skyline owners club are holding an event on Sun 25th which leaves us with the 11th or the 18th. I feel the 11th would be fairer on Duncan so the premises wont be open two Sundays in a row... so lets go for Sunday 11th November....just need to confirm a start time with a full field of runners.... thanks Paul

Dave Sorry to hear that mate.....I know you've had a run of bad luck with the motor recently...and it can be very difficult to get the motivation to stay with the marque.....but Im sure like everyone who departs scoobyland it wont be long before your back in the flat four...take care in the meantime....and still come to the meets...I mean Im scoobyless just now also after trading the car at the weekend....so the next meet will be in my volvo until I get the other car picked up.... see you soon mate Paul
