To the Fountain of Great knowledge...that is the SIDC...... anyone care to comment on "Noise Cancelling Headphones".... was thinking of getting a set for the ipod considering I spend so much time on planes just now....had the volume up full the other day on a flight to Cardiff and still couldnt hear a thing... do these things actually work...???? looked at a snazy Bose set but £239.......arghhhh no chance..... anyone care to comment....have you tried them...what do you have..? thanks Paul

On my 4th mountain bike now...and I currently ride a GT Bike with Discs etc....but even at the cheaper end of the scale if your prepared to spend around £150 upwards...you couldnt go wrong with some of the starter Trek or GT models.....like the other guys have said...forget full sus unless your going to throw yourself of mountain sides...far to much weight.......also have to agree with stretch to whatever you can the component difference on the bike will be amazing...and there is nothing worth than riding a bike thats not set up right....ask anyone...

The club did spend the entire weekend at Knockhill last weekend remember at the Motorfair.....I appreciate that todays event might have attracted more "like thinking" drivers with the type of cars on track but we cant be at everything.....however I will investigate what would be involved with a stand for next years event....and report back.....

Fraser Depends what your after mate...I know Duncan at Hypertech stocks the Racetech series they look quite smart....will be heading for some of them myself shortly.......almost sure I have seen pods in his display cabinet as well..... Paul

Hi Guys Recently treated myself to a 80gb Classic Ipod for use on my many alphabetical tour of the UK's Airports and Travel Inns...... Have noticed when I connect into Itunes its offering me a software update......now I am one of the "if it aint broke dont fix it " gang......do I need to update the software.....does it provide any benefit....or as I suspect is it just a load of tosh....... any comments....do you update?? thanks Paul

Evening all...... Jo had a bit of a shunt up the rear......yesterday oooerrrrr Low speed impact at the fantastic new multi roundabout system at Tullibody Cross for those at are familiar with the area....who thought they could fit two roundabouts at a crossroads and zebra crossings of every angle needs their head examined...anyway..back to her rear..... not much damage...some scratching on the bumper and I think it may have been pushed in slightly and the number plate is damaged...the little Polo which attacked her came of worse............. anyone recommend a good bodyshop around stirling/falkirk that would give us a price for a bumper respray etc...... thanks all
