  1. Cheers Colin. Gonna check the system on the car, just to see how it's fitted first. 8) Thanks Stephen. Is there a list of benefits somewhere?
  2. Cheers Jim, how much you looking for and should it fit to a standard system? Goes to 2.5 inch at end etc? What you need a decat downpipe for Doug?
  3. Certainly a lot of questions about membership asked in there....can't find anything to say how long it takes from signing up, to being able to post in the for sale/wanted section though.
  4. Thats ok Frank. Managing fine so far. I'll have a gander, cheers.
  5. As i'm now pretty much forced into the membership as i need a decat downpipe ASAP, i'm looking to put a wanted ad up, but before i spend the £35, where do i find out exactly ALL what benefits i get for a membership? I can't find it anywhere and even struggled to find the page to sign up for the membership.

  7. Yer, best way is underneath with a longer 3/8 drive extension, but CAN be done from above with a spanner coming in from the drivers side. For that, you hope to GOD that the nut doesn't seize up on the stud though.
  8. All 10mm bolts. Couple are through the shield straight onto the up-pipe and of course a couple onto the turbo bracket, but i expect you found them ok. If you can't find one or two, get underneath the car and feel round the sides. You could probably do with a 1/4 drive ratchet and dumpy 10mm socket to get to these bolts though.
  9. Possibly a split pipe or something. Car not still under warranty though?
  10. And they can be had for that price.....and possibly lower. Just rather hard to find them.
  11. Keiichi Tsuchiya eat yer heart out! Stunning tribute G.
  12. My first thoughts are to check the linkage underneath tbh. The rattle could be coming from there, though i'd have expected that to be fixed by Bill, if that IS the problem. Failing that, just have the gearbox rebuilt. £2-300 is the usual cost and the standard box is well within it's limits at your power level.
  13. That could have sounded very, very bad Dougster, but some well chosen words at the end there made it all good.
  14. There used to be one, next to the big supermarket at Anniesland Cross. IIRC it was called Kelvin Coachtrims, but i can't find any details of them on Google. Guy was good, although only a small shop.
  15. Damnstraight i painted it...............and i STILL ain't been paid for it! Did he tell you how much of a mess it was too? P1 looks good covered in grime fella, so that isn't needed. I'll have a gander at Stu's when he EVENTUALLY appears and tell you what i think of the stuff.
  16. Ah gotcha....and you have a reply. 81k isn't too bad, but there's room for moving the asking price....
  17. Dunno myself mate, but worth asking. That was only after a brief look, but i'd expect you to find a few not sold yet on there.
  18. If you need any help, give me a shout and i'll see what i can do. Dare i say, but i'm sure you'll find a couple good ones on SNET.... http://bbs.scoobynet.com/private-sale-gene...blue-wagon.html
  19. Yer you'll defo get an STi for that kind of money, but i don't think you'll struggle too hard to find one, as long as you don't mind travelling a bit to get it. Remember your the man with the money. Not everyone has the cash in hand to buy a car. You can dictate the price more-so.
  20. How about this one.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=001
  21. Mind me asking how much cash you'll have to play with mate?
  22. Theres a name i ain't see in a while! How's it going Ozzy? PS:- sorry for the hijack.
  23. T1-R's have a harder tread egde compared the the S's, so i vouch for them.
  24. Drivers door is defo a different colour from the rest of the car.
