  1. Mightily impressive Andy! Have you started living in it yet?
  2. RE the bulkhead....i'm looking for a PICTURE Gavin. Remember we discussed it, but a picture was never shown. Fair enough on the sales points, but when a dealer offers you ridiculous prices for your car(as you say well below book price), you can only assume he isn't interested in the car as such. The RR has 15k miles on it, in Rimini Red with beige cloth and 20 Storm wheels...not exactly a horrible car. Same happened when we were tryin to px his WRX-S. One dealer offered 11k. Surely you must agree prices at least haven't stablised?
  3. Comparing an X5 is hardly comparable to Subaru's Gav. Is it per chance a diesel? Some dealers may WANT to take a px one day and NOT want to take it the next. Dad was offered 16k for his RR Sport TDV6 S 07 model against an 08 plate X5 3.5D today.....sorry, but WHERE can you get a 2 year old Sport for 16k??? Me think's there are less people attempting to sell their cars, as they aren't worth as much as they were 6-10 months ago. Every car dealer i've spoken to says there isn't a credit crunch on, but right now isn't a great time to try and sell Subaru's IMO. PS:- where's the picture of the solid rear bulkhead you were going to show me Gav?
  4. People are convinced their cars haven't fallen in value....it isn't true unfortuntely.
  5. TD05 20G turbo is readily available and pretty cheap too considering others. Your standard headers are fine for over 400hp, but you'd see a difference getting them ported.
  6. Expect to lose some oil, but jack up one side of the car at a time....saves losing/replacing all your oil.
  7. Or he could just buy my faithers WRX-S.
  8. The bolts themselves should be fine, but the donut's around them should really be replaced. Just make sure you don't strip the threads in the head.
  9. I've seen 2007 STi's for 12-13k, so i'd say 2-3k less than that.
  10. Yep, Halfords etc should also sell it.
  11. No harm in using a bit of sealer. I'd suggest Hylomar, as it stays soft and sticky.
  12. Two words.... ...the business. I do hope you change nothing fella, awesome just as it is. I'm sure you won't though.
  13. Must admit, very impressed Grant. Nice one.
  14. Arch, i had to order some through Halleys...at £6 each.
  15. Kin ell fella. Sorry to see this. Try to bear in mind it's just a car and completely replaceable. No-one is hurt which is the main thing.
  16. Does it not say in the manual Davie? I'd have said 35 myself.
  17. Any chance of a larger version please fella, without the pure white number plate? Stunning pic.
  18. Could you be thinking about this one.... http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=122196
  19. Fek thats graphic, but even though i reckon they'd get a few complaints....thats what is needed. Very touching clip. Thanks for that Davie.
  20. Pirelli P-Zero Nero Had em on the 19's on the old RB5 and currently fitted to faithers WRX-S. Great on dry and wet tarmac.
  21. I have a set of 10mm spacers here fella, with some longer studs, although i think one may be missing for some reason. Give us a shout if it's of interest. With these both fitted to my old RA, my Turini's missed the Brembos by enough.
  22. There aren't many turbo charged 4WD cars that do so much, for so little money, while not being TOO old and parts being so plentiful and cheap. That's what does it for me........and the fact they are easy to work and no major need for dealers to "plug them in".
  23. Stephen....don't. The money you'll lose selling your current car will hurt and the "sensible" car you buy will lose even more money. MPG isn't a big to you by the sounds of it....it's mainly boredom, BUT this will come back once the newness of the next car disappears. God, even i'm back in the fold again..........but don't tell anyone.
  24. That looks gorgeous fella, good work! Not a great fan of the grille mind you, but it still works well. Nice to see a bugeye looking smart and not all tarted up to the heavens.
