  1. Thanks Kenny.
  2. It looks stuck on...because it is. I had a 3 gauge pod in my old RA and thought it looked fine. Can't remember where i bought it mind you.
  3. Nice one Peter. Good to see someone taking a roadcar, a stage further than usual.
  4. Basic answer is no mate. Best bet is to speak to Blueflame, or change systems. Revolution 3 inch is the one i'd suggest...
  5. Interested in a GB too Arch.
  6. Personally, i've always thought of this place as SIDC...i figured ScottishScoobies was just a sub-forum. Not once have i tried ScottishScoobies.co.uk If Phil doesn't have a problem with it, why should anyone else...it's not their site.
  7. That's the Defi Link series. Should be able to find them on Ebay or SNET secondhand.
  8. I would always go for Defi tbh fella. Very easy to install compared to other stuff and still worth their money when you come to sell them on. They look the best too.
  9. Unsure if both the rods are the same, but AFAIK they are. Will cope with around 500hp....it's revs they don't like. Anything above 6.5k is getting touch and go.
  10. Mightily impressive Andy! Have you started living in it yet?
  11. RE the bulkhead....i'm looking for a PICTURE Gavin. Remember we discussed it, but a picture was never shown. Fair enough on the sales points, but when a dealer offers you ridiculous prices for your car(as you say well below book price), you can only assume he isn't interested in the car as such. The RR has 15k miles on it, in Rimini Red with beige cloth and 20 Storm wheels...not exactly a horrible car. Same happened when we were tryin to px his WRX-S. One dealer offered 11k. Surely you must agree prices at least haven't stablised?
  12. Comparing an X5 is hardly comparable to Subaru's Gav. Is it per chance a diesel? Some dealers may WANT to take a px one day and NOT want to take it the next. Dad was offered 16k for his RR Sport TDV6 S 07 model against an 08 plate X5 3.5D today.....sorry, but WHERE can you get a 2 year old Sport for 16k??? Me think's there are less people attempting to sell their cars, as they aren't worth as much as they were 6-10 months ago. Every car dealer i've spoken to says there isn't a credit crunch on, but right now isn't a great time to try and sell Subaru's IMO. PS:- where's the picture of the solid rear bulkhead you were going to show me Gav?
  13. People are convinced their cars haven't fallen in value....it isn't true unfortuntely.
  14. TD05 20G turbo is readily available and pretty cheap too considering others. Your standard headers are fine for over 400hp, but you'd see a difference getting them ported.
  15. Expect to lose some oil, but jack up one side of the car at a time....saves losing/replacing all your oil.
  16. Or he could just buy my faithers WRX-S.
  17. The bolts themselves should be fine, but the donut's around them should really be replaced. Just make sure you don't strip the threads in the head.
  18. I've seen 2007 STi's for 12-13k, so i'd say 2-3k less than that.
  19. Yep, Halfords etc should also sell it.
  20. No harm in using a bit of sealer. I'd suggest Hylomar, as it stays soft and sticky.
  21. Two words.... ...the business. I do hope you change nothing fella, awesome just as it is. I'm sure you won't though.
  22. Must admit, very impressed Grant. Nice one.
  23. Arch, i had to order some through Halleys...at £6 each.
  24. Kin ell fella. Sorry to see this. Try to bear in mind it's just a car and completely replaceable. No-one is hurt which is the main thing.
  25. Does it not say in the manual Davie? I'd have said 35 myself.
