About gordi82

  1. Thats the one from John Weirs. He had to register it by December 2009 or he would have to jump through hoops to do it. It was sold to a really nice couple who fell in love with it. It will only be out on nice days. The one they traded in only had 10k on it and was on 04 plate
  2. Get something in writing before you drive away to make sure you can get your money back if it's not right. Having worked in the motor trade for over 10 years now I know that handing a car back is not that easy. Make sure the letter gives you the choice and not only an option to hand back if the same fault comes back. I would still not be taking the car back. It's your hard earned money thats in it.
  3. Hand your car back and buy the one you have asked about in the for sale section looks like a belter
  4. I would be returning the car mate. Or insist that they give you a full warranty covering ALL electrical issues for at least 1 full year that at least will put your mind at rest. I know you have spent ages looking for the right car so why wreck it with a let down car and loose the passion you had Gordon
  5. So tell me then how can you fix an electical problem first then put it on the diagnostic machine to find out if your right. What a total idiot feeling your pain Gordon
  6. Hi what I would do is speak directly to Nobles and ask if parts have been ordered and when your car is it booked into the workshop. Subaru parts also come over night unless its on back order but a part like that should be in stock. To put it on thier diagnostic machine only takes minutes as for it cant go on until the switch is replaced is a load of bull. I used to work for John Weirs so know what i'm talking about don't let them take the p**s. Nobles are very good and will be honest with you. Good luck Gordon
  7. If your not going to mod the car in anyway then I would recomend you extend the warranty as one claim would pay for its self. The chances of the car needing new shocks are high so in my opinion its worth it also if you take Subaru assist remember you get a loan car if yours is off the road. Money well spent I would say.
  8. My inlaws are stuck in Singapore looks like it could be Wed or Thurs before they get home.
  9. Thanks for the wave passed you in kilsyth in red hatch (diesel) head up my ar5e so didn't notice till you had just about passed. Your car looks mega clean. Cheers Gordon
  10. They only have 1 reverse light the other side is your fog
  11. Far better thant a TVR I would say. Hope he listens to people in the know.
  12. My mate is looking for a new car he has got up to 25k to spend and was thinking of a TVR T350 there has to be a better car out there than that. Any sujestions guys
  13. I know of 3 people who have been let off with similar offences. If you can go in prepar a sorry letter put your hands up and tell them just how important your licence is to you and your family. Everyone I know has had a semi large fine Around the £700 mark but betwwen 4 and 7 points. If you just go in and say nothing they will ban you. Make sure you sound sinsere and you should be ok. You will get a solicitor quite easily. Good luck
  14. Your car books in glass's guide at £2550 bottom book and the retail price is £4250 that's before your mods. being the fact that it does not get affected by the higher tax it should be even more apealing than a 2001 on a Y reg. Those figures are mileage adjusted as well normal mileage would be 80k and would be £2925 bottom and £4625 top. Cheers Gordon John R Weir (only until the 26th)
  15. thats crap. don't know if you have accses to another car or not but there is a company called accident exchange they will provide you with a car the same type as yours or better (no worse) and claim from his insurance. here is the link to the site http://www.accidentexchange.com/ Gordon
