  2. Alan i just ment, possibly the standard inlet pipe was collapsing. What up-pipe was fitted fella? Might be the size is unsuitable....?
  3. Didn't Andy test the 2.5 system to over 400hp? Why not say who the mapper is? We won't take it as though he's doing something wrong. lol A number of people have problems that have nothing to do with mapping.

  6. I'm wondering if your intake pipe is collapsing? Could be a bad one, you never know? You think 1.6bar with a 20g on a 2 litre, is quick spooling at 4-4.5k revs Alan? I've never had the 20G on a 2 litre, so i'm not sure at what point it should be hitting 1.6. How does the car feel mate? Feel any faster from what you can remember?
  7. When does it hit 1 bar of boost and when does it hit max boost? Out of interest, what IS max boost anyway?

  9. ET50 is fine for the car....sounds like the geometery is too far out or something......maybe your shockers are a bit knackered?
  10. What ET are the wheels? Sounds a bit strange that it should be rubbing...VERY strange in fact. Auto Image in Glasgow have the proper tool for arch rolling and dont charge too much for it either, but i suggest seeing what the problem is first. Where you located?
  11. How long have you got it?! Most only have to roll the rear arches and 215 is the proper size for a classic....God i'm using 225 without probs. As for keeping the wheel arch liners if rolling the arch, i don't think it's possible at all, as it's the arch itself that holds the edge of the liner up. When rolling the arches on the front it can distort the wing too, if your not carefull.
  12. Just decided i simply dont need the use of it. Not going for any more power, so why fit it? Never been used before, brand new.
  13. What do you mean it's not just an air block....if your saying it's blocked? When filling the tank, take the wee pipe that comes from the top left of the radiator(NOT the one that goes over the rad to expansion bottle), squeeze the big pipe that goes from the rad to the cross pipe next the the power steering pipe and hold. Then put your finger over the end of the wee pipe and release the pressure of the big pipe. This SHOULD draw the fluid through and thus getting rid of a block/air. Other than that, you could try running the car at about 3-4k revs with the tank cap off and fill it up if it goes down. Really need two people to do that job though.

  20. I've only heard of a couple of sports cats not passing the emissions, but this was ment to be down to not getting it hot enough. As long as you explain to the tester, they need to get the thing red hot, then it shouldn't be a problem.
  21. Nothing wrong with the standard rad. Defo fit at least the uprated thermostat.

  23. Haven't read it all Davie, but this stuff is happening all the time. I for one, nearly went to view a certain scoob a short time ago...had an HPI done before i ventured and it turned out to be a cat-d back in 2004. It's now been SUPPOSEDLY sold.[^o)]
