  1. Could be that then, yer.
  2. There is hardly any pressure in the spring and it's nothing to do with the clutch pedal side of the whole thing, only the clutch fork.
  3. If it jumps the rest of the way up after touching it, then i'd say you prolly need to bleed it, or if it needs pressure right to the very top, then you can grease/oil the pedal. There is also an adjuster which is a bit difficult to get to, at the top of the clutch pedal, but it may do some good. WD40 is your saviour though me thinks. []
  4. Does the pedal just take wee bit of pressure to get it to clunk up to the top, or does it need pressure right till it gets to the top?
  5. Sell them for cash, then we can talk. []
  6. There's a good one for sale here..... http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/855760.aspx []
  7. Cheers Grant. The only man i know, that is more indescisive[sp?] than me!!! [][]
  8. Nothing to do with the spring at all Alan...infact you can throw the spring away for all the use of it. What's happening with the clutch exactly? Just not returning fully up when you take your foot off it? How high up does it come up? Could maybe do with a bleed. Lucky you. []
  9. Yep, can't believe i missed that one. Serves me right, for bidding first thing in the morning. [8-)] Lookin forward to seein how your 2.1 performs Simon. Nice to see someone doing something a bit different from the norm.
  10. Lol, got some of the exact same wheels sitting here, so no need to spend money there, just yet. Cheers guys. Have already started the project and repaired the tailgate. [] Jamie, no timescale as yet, as it's just something to keep me occupied. I'm moving sometime soon, to a new flat which is a 5 minute walk from work, so it won't be as though i need a car to get to work. [] This way, i can bide my time on SNET, Ebay and NASIOC for gucci parts. [H] Already bagged another bargain this morning on Ebay.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1
  11. Personnally, i reckon you'd be able to find a straight car for about 5k and at 3200 at the moment and not even hit the reserve limit, i'd say no, it's not worth it.
  12. Thought i may as well stick this up, as there isn't much here in the way of "projects" apart from KennyS. and maybe Playsatan if he get's his camera out. [] Bought this yesterday for £100. Was pleasantly shocked at how little rust was under the car, but i've still to strip the interior out it, so see how bad it is under the sodden wet floor carpet. Still to sell my current Scoob, before i can REALLY get started on it, but i have a spare 1k miles old 2.5 block here in need of some attention and loads of ideas. [] I'll keep the thread updated as much as i can. Let the good times begin! [H]
  13. They are known to be quite slow in telling you details and i'd agree with that, having had one in my old RB5.
  14. Alan-G, what year of car do you have?
  15. It was attatched to the car when i bought it. [] AFAIK RCM sell the APS kit's though...
  16. I can vouch for that! []
  17. APS is on mine. Coulty has my old HKS. APS uses all soft pipes with one hard plastic section. Good for keeping the heat out the air going into inlet manifold.
  18. What sort of fuel regulator and what pressure you running it, considering the injectors are at 100%?
  19. What year of car is it and had you been driving the car hard for some time? List of mods?
  20. Sorry to hear mate. Sounds like a rod through the block, on first thoughts.
  21. Lateral kit doesn't come with any pipework remember though Colin, so you can add even more money onto Joe Public's price list.
  22. My Adobe Reader is updating just when i need it.[8-)]
  23. Thought it was just me. []
  24. Dunno of any "bad" CAI's tbh, but APS certainly comes out as one of the best, although hard to get a hold of. There are plenty of FMIC's that will do the job and not cost an arm and a leg. £400+ for a half decent one. £600+ i'd say for a well known branded one. Again APS is one of the best....Hyperflow probably being the best, but at a price....http://www.aet-turbos.co.uk/pdf/hyperflow.pdf
  25. What is the budget? Airbox needs changing, so a cold air kit is another thing that needs doing.
