  1. Had the same problem with Mctwistuk's. Get a grinder to it.
  2. Well spotted Johnny! [H] 2 minutes and it'll be done.
  3. Oi Alex, no-body asked for your input on that matter! [][]
  4. Lol no worries mate. Try not to think about losing the car too much, as at the end of the day it really IS only a car and there are a lot more serious things out there to consider, than a car with a noise. [H]
  5. Lol, i hardly done anything mate! []
  6. Any jobs in where you work Colin? Looking for some free time myself.... No worries Del. Maybe fine to fit them once moved in, but i'll see how the missus takes me saying that first. [] Got a transporter myself, but if i do need some extra help, i'll ya a bell, cheers. [H]
  7. The swear filter blocks out F-A-G? Bonkers. Fraid i'm gonna have to back out relocating your gauges Del. Been told i need to get out my house for the 28th and i have no time as it is to do it. []
  8. So you've not actually lengthened the wires from the KL box, to the lights?
  9. Did you need a small soldering iron Colin?
  10. No worries Del. Just give us a bell to make sure i'm still there. [] Andy, i haven't actually given that a go yet, but i now have a spare KL, so i'll try soldering in some longer wires. I'll send you a PM if it works out, otherwise i'll get Coulty to send you one, while i'm sitting in the ER with second degree burns. [] Just out of interest, where were you thinking of mounting the lights?
  11. Fraid not bud. Moving house in a couple of weeks and the missus has booked the rest of the weekend to go shopping for carpets and furniture![:'(] Next week onwards is cool though.
  12. Ah right ok. Give us a shout when you get them, so i can get a look at them and see whats need to fit them.
  13. Lol no worries bud. [] I think i know what your meaning and i don't see why not. Are you getting different gauges too, or just relocating them?
  14. Lookin good as per Colin, but you went on about how you wanted it finished THIS year?
  15. What you wantin fitted mate?
  16. Cheers guys. The main thing, is really the actual engine stamp ontop of the block and not everyone i know has declared this. Epoxy was used to cover the stamp.....the insurance engineer won't rip your block apart and do some measuring. [] And some insurance companies simply want you to admit it's modified and not even give a list of parts, to up your premium.
  17. No worries fella!
  18. Well i have a couple different style of wheel nuts here, your welcome to try out. Not sure if they are all full sets mind you, but at least it gets you closer to settleing your mind.... At the end of the day, alloy is soft and by tightening it up enough, you shouldn't have a problem. Just don't tighten the locking nut up too much! []
  19. As long as the type B nut is the same angle as the ones you removed, it should be fine mate.
  20. Things can be changed to suit a 10k max budget. I touch goats
  21. For a wee bit extra, you could buy this... http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/855760.aspx I do have someone coming to view it today though.
  22. TBH, I wouldn't read anything into the 65,500 members. I run a busy forum and less than 2% of my registered members are actually active regularly. Many register, but only lurk so they can take advantage of the cookie thing where read posts are remembered etc and many have registered once as it seemed like a good idea then never or rarely come back. Of those 65,500 members I reckon you'd be lucky to find 700 who were posting with any degree of regularity - and, having seen the quality of posts on SN, I have doubts you'd even want to read most of them. [8-)] I won't argue with you on the forum layout on here though. Don't blame you for thinking that, but it ain't true.....unless your talking about the Scottish section. [] If you actually spend some time on SNET, you'll find that there are many thousand people posting regularly. I actually find this rather funny, as some moved away from being "sectioned out" in SNET, but they moved here and when you look at the details, they are sectioned out of the rest of SIDC. []
  23. Na, he's just not got blinkers on. []
  24. The dark side?
  25. Got im! Cheers.[]
