  1. Im still getting judder after a good few hundered miles on a new spigot and Agra skimmed FW so I'm wondering if something may be bent... It would go like a shot over there mate. I'm still undecided on what I'm doing turbo wise. Will wait and see. Needs a new radiator too. FARKIN MONEY PIT!!!
  2. Ssshhhh! Dont tell everyone! I may be interested Ciaran. Got a few other things to sort out. Mainly the dreaded judder! I could go on and on about the farkin erse that "skimmed" the flywheel to a finish that could only be described as Himalayan. Or the person that didnt change the spigot bearing at the same time but i'm over it now. Plans are afoot though...if you still have it when im ready for it, I will be in touch. Have you had any interest?
  3. From what I have read/been told as I am in a similar situation comparing the 16 to the VF's. 18G over 16G has slightly later spool with more top end power. If you're a number chaser then go 18G, the 16G/VF34/35 would be more of a back road blast unit with more of a mid range punch.
  4. In 4hero's last photo it looks VERY evo 5/6, so for that reason, i'm out! It is better in the blue on Dunk's pic. Also, do the rear discs not look bigger than the front in that pic?
  5. +1 take away the rear wing and all I can see is a mish mash between some dull american/korean effort. Im sure it looks just dandy from the front and sides!
  6. Thanks for the replies folks, much appreciated. Maxy - what car/current turbo are you running? If you are after 300bhp then surely all the mods you quote along with an AFP04H instead of the 16G would have been the smaller and quicker spooling option? Like C WRX, not having a go or persuading you either way. I have all you listed above on my T2000 with a standard TD04 and made 277/312 according to Andy. Lewis
  7. Thanks for that Phil, quite interesting. Im due down at Andy soon too. Which turbo to attach is my current problem... Bob, I was planning to email the man himself tonight, I just wanted everyone else's views too.
  8. Hello folks, As title says, are any of you running the Andy Forrest AFP5-16? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Does it hold boost well and what supporting mods are you running? What kind of figures are they producing? I'm only asking as im considering going down another turbo route. Cheers, Lewis
  9. I never got an email and your link doesnt work, maybe one too many dots...
  10. My 2p worth... it could also be the rolling road causing the readings. I would be suspect of them due to the lack of torque increase.
  11. Neither redmoss or wellington had it yesterday but both had deliveries today so I filled up!
  12. I know a fella that was looking at a scoob with 140k on it. I would say buy on condition more than anything. 40k miles with kids and dogs and a careless owner could look a lot worse than a 100k cherished well kept and serviced car if you know what I mean?
  13. I'd say you wouldnt have any trouble shifting the bits with the prices you put up. As for the other bits I dunno.
  14. I wonder how much HP this bad boy is running!
  15. Thats the bonniest saxo i've ever seen, they should do that with all of them! Though not in other peoples driveways! I would find the wee scrote that left it there and dump it somewhere inconvenient for him/his family. Preferrably on a double yellow.
  16. ya big walloper! Glad you are ok though mate. On another note, russell's done my flywheel now and the one you sold me and I had skimmed had high spots all over it. Not your fault at all, bloody machine shop in aberdeen did a piss poor job. The spigot bearing was completely fcuked too. Im now trying to and praying that the clutch can and will bed the Agra flywheel!
  17. Its now 9-8 to white thanks to me! I white wheels too and have to say that IMO the full red wheel suits the car with the red visor and decal but definitely wouldnt without them. I have the same wheels as you on a green classic and would like them to be white!
  18. I'd rather a TVR over that thing anyday. Quite a good (rare) spot though!
  19. Ah Colin, it's good to put a car to the name! You ditched the spats then?
  20. AFAIK, that would be shot blasting Dale, only instead of shot/sand/grit being used to remove rust or corrosion, the OP is looking for someone who uses organic materials such as walnut shell or plastics. Thats is the extent of my knowledge on the matter, unfortunately I dont know anyone at all that does it.
  21. Aye the shorter coppers always seem to have a chip on their shoulder!
  22. Does he charge extra for it? Got a TD05-16G which has been to Andy and come back as an AFP5-16, only to be sent away to get coated with the DP. Russ is getting my car the morn to finally sort it! (I hope!) Its not like I have been meaning to get it done since July or anything! The Agra FW will be a pile of rust by now! Keeping on topic, I am still appreciating the shiny black blob! Unlike Cheryl hahaha
  23. Well if you can paint then it will be cheaper! Dont bother with graphics, get some chalk and you can do your own graphics, til it rains...
  24. Does it cost extra? Does andy do it? Im away for a remap with him soon and would be keen for a switchable map like you fellas are talking about.
